I can't tell you how unexcited I would be with a Giuliani-Brownback ticket.
At that point, even McCain starts to look good...
Oh, sure. You can interpret it as either Brownback angling for the VP spot (which he is extremely unlikely to get) or his generic willingness to back any Republican candidate without asking too many questions.
The question is, who put the name of Giuliani into the headline, Brownback or this writer? My take on the article is that it was this writer, maybe on the basis that Giuliani is the least likely candidate for a supposed right to lifer to back.
I don’t know why anyone would want his endorsement. It’s delusional to think that religious conservatives would accept his endorsement as cover for a guy like Giuliani.
