I am a paralegal and work in many areas of the law. We write Wills, Financial Powers, Living Wills and Health Care Directive or Power of Attorney. Believe me...Fred Thompson is right on this one. Unfortunately, with no Living Will or Health Care Directive, the spouse must be relied on in the Courts. The Congress and the President had no right to interfere.

Just my opinion...want a piece of Cherry Pie?

By the way...Kennedy was responsible for taking a life and look where he is...Senior Senator from "Massachusetts" you know, Mitt's state.

I was also a paralegal. Sorry, but the default has ALWAYS been, absent proof, the presumption is a person wants to LIVE.

If it were not the case, then there is no necessity to have a “living will” stipulating you WANT TO DIE.

Paralegal here too. The entire thing was a criminal enterprise from the get go. If you aren't a paralegal in Tampa Bay, you don't have the facts. The facts are stunners. I became involved when Judge Greer snubbed Jeb Bush. I jumped in to help Jeb. Once I learned more about Terri, it was clear she was alert and aware but that some very bad people including her husband were trying to kill her.

You didn't attend court in Pinellas County or at the Federal Courthouse in Tampa? Kangaroo Courtrooms.

It was a total sham being that she was responsive, alert and aware. A President and a Governor took an oath to protect human life. They failed. She was murdered.

Visit my profile page and read the Florida Statute that clearly shows the Judges committed felonies and should be in prison.

It appears the mainstream media got to you early on...

the spouse must be relied on in the Courts

A spouse who has "moved on" with a new girlfriend/children and who has a financial interest in the "loved one's" death?
A spouse whose actions, the night the brain injury occurred, had come under question?

The Congress and the President had no right to interfere

The only "interference" by Congress and the president was an attempt to let FAMILY (Terri's parents, in this case) take their appeal to a different (federal) court, a court that could consider this life-and-death issue from a different angle.

As we should all remember from the 2000 election, Florida's Supreme Court is extremely left wing. SCOFLA's rejection of appeals for Terri's life wasn't worth any more than its attempt to hand AlGore the presidency.
