Garden Party




We are two attractive Kittens named Izzy and Mo
Silken furred Perpetual Motion machines constantly on the go
Notorious for being known to disappear for the better part of a Day
Deep inside Our Pretty One's garden, a perfect mix of Work and Play

Gliding through swirling waves of petals of every color, shape and size
Our time spent protecting the garden should come as no surprise
Being bathed in delicious scents is a reward most sweet

As loose rich loam swirls softly around our hands and feet
That keep time with the rhythm of Maureen's shiny little bell
We slowly circle Our Pretty One's most splendid Wishing Well

Maureen and I decide to dive deeper and savor Nature's mesmerizing spell
Pausing to enjoy the flavors of Roses, Zinnias and Lilacs
While watching buzzing and pretty flying Bugs that dip but don't attack
We decide to stick around and enjoy Nature's delicious snacks
