D.C. Chapter mega ping!
Another fun day.
FRisco FReepers might also want to be aware that at about the same time, October 17 (tomorrow), Noon Pacific time, Melanie Morgan has organized a counterprotest in Berkeley. Code Pinko (yes, them) plans to "demonstrate" at the U.S. Marine Corps recruiting station in Berkeley. Now of course one Marine can easily withstand and repel anything the entire mob of Pinkos can come up with without even getting his hair mussed (that's a joke), but some of us patriots are going to be there anyway with our stars and bars, and with our love and admiration for those who wear OUR uniform.
Noon. Shattuck and University. Berkeley, California, U.S.A.
Aloha.
Not to be picky or anything, kristinn, but you should get the word around via freep-mail. Now they will be ready for you. Surprise is part of the effectiveness. Go git em.
I love seeing Code Pink blood pressure rising bttt!
Here is what Code Pink (CP) DC has on tap the next few days:

Love the troops - Hate the war. This vigil has been controversial because it is sometimes misunderstood. The purpose of this vigil is to raise awareness within our
community and among the media that the most injured soldiers are brought to Walter Reed to be treated and should not be forgotten.
Interesting that “peace group” CP prominently features a violent revolutionary (Weather Underground) alumnus. Then again, maybe the woman’s 3 comrades were blown up by a malfunctioning water heater and not her and the others making terrorist bombs.
Also, note that the National Press Club is allowing discount tickets to CP even though some CP members have been banned from NPC for disrupting events.
So, will you folks be going as “Code Camo”?
Anyone know the closest metro stop? Thanks.
WoooHoooo!
You’re going to drive them that very short distance to “Crazy” - you know that don’t you?
