The Democrats are skillful in grabbing political capital whenever conservative-leaning politicians cut into the amount of money Americans hand over to the government.
They call this "tax cuts for the rich."
Well, I think it's time that WE started pointing out, in clear "marketing-type" terms and phraseology, what the LIBERALS are about.
A lot of what they're talking about now (as I understand it) basically amounts to expensive healthcare handouts for the rich. Let's call a spade a spade.
Too often we have LOST the public debate simply because liberals understand how to package a concept in marketing language.
So, what should we be talking about? Healthcare handouts for the rich? Or is there a better phrase?
And how else can we describe "liberals'" policies (such as a commitment to be defeated in Iraq and the Middle East, or suppression of the right to self-defense) in ways that really communicate to the American public what's truly going on here?
Some one used the phrase “bribing people with their own money” on another thread.
I like that one.
And that of their neighbors.
