3/11: Bikers and Jews

One of the most used techniques of intoxication and propaganda is the so-called technique of the transparent message.

The technique of the transparent message is astoundingly simple in spite of what it works wonderfully and it is used everyday at all levels in our life. This way of intoxication consists in hide (to make it transparent) the false message that you want to inoculate to your audience, resorting to another supposed message, that it is utilized as a lure.

Once, a good friend of mine told me a paradigmatic example of this kind of technique. It was about an urban legend attributed to Goebbels, the propaganda minister of the Nazi regime. Goebbels was trying to explain Hitler a campaign that was to be set up all around Germany, which consisted in wallpapering the streets with posters that exhibited a person riding a bike. Under this image, the poster showed just a phrase: “Bikers and Jews are to blame for Germany’s problems”.

- That is exactly the question that I want the people to ask themselves when they read the poster – answered Goebbels.

In this technique of the transparent message, it is used the lure message (“bikers are to blame”) to centre the capacity of critic of the audience over that lure, so they accept without questioning the false message that is wanted to be transmitted (“Jews are to blame”).

It can be about, for instance, a mere exaggeration of the false message itself, which induces the listener to question the quantitative aspect, accepting without criticism the qualitative one: “I’ve heard that Mr. Doe has received a commission of 100 million dollars for the signature of the contract”. “Come on, the value of the contract was 200 million, so how can they give him 100 million? He could not have gotten so much”.

2. It can be about an absurd message, as in the case of the biker and the Jew. Absurd lures suspend the capacity of critic of the listener, as they centre the attention on something that seems implausible and for what it is difficult to find an explanation.

3. Or maybe it can be about the so-called “poisoned candy”. It is about a perfectly believable lure, chosen according to what the audience expects to listen. This kind of lure is used in cases in which initially the audience is not willing to accept the false message, or if this audience is warned about the deceptions we want to carry out. We will see and example soon.

Now that we have been demolishing the Official Version of 3/11, and now that it is clearer that it was an intelligence operation, it is interesting to look backward and analyze the intoxication techniques used to settle in the public opinion the false idea of an Islamist attack.

It is spectacular the result of analyzing, for instance, different aspects and contradictions of the Official Version and check the profusion with which the technique of the transparent message was used. There are all kinds of examples:

• Example of transparent message with absurd lure: “El Chino was fined three times by the Civil Guard during his trip transporting the explosives from Asturias”. What was what we all asked ourselves when we knew such information? That how it was possible that [the Civil Guards] let him go if he carried explosives in the car. So we accepted the false message that had been made transparent due to the lure: that once upon a time a transport of explosives from Asturias took place.

• Another example of absurd lure: “Some Bulgarians bought ten mobile phones in the store owned by the Hindus”. We all asked ourselves who the heck those Bulgarians could be, and accepted without questioning the false thesis they wanted to slip: that the 3/11 bombs carried mobile phones and that these mobile phones had been bought in the Hindus’ store.

• Example of transparent message with poisoned candy: “El Chino told me that he knew in prison ETA members”. Automatically, the audience that finds suspicious the Islamist claiming, glimpses the shadow of ETA behind El Chino, thus accepting a lie (that El Chino participated in the attacks) that otherwise would never do.

• Another example of poisoned candy: “I warned the UCO that an attack was being prepared, but they just ignored me”. Automatically, this audience that does not believe in the Islamist perpetration begins to search franticly for possible links between Rafael Vera and 3/11 through Colonel Hernando [chief of the UCO], accepting without discussion the false thesis that it wanted to be slipped: that some acquaintances of Rafá Zouhier were the ones that carried out the attack.

The examples in the Judicial Summary of 3/11 are infinite. I am sure the readers of the blog have in mind many others. The important thing, beyond the concrete examples, is to check how widespread this technique of the transparent message has been used and how easily we fell in the successive traps they had prepared.

As it is important to find out another thing: the systematic utilization of this kind of techniques of intoxication points out resolutely that the entire 3/11 Summary is a vast (although crude) intelligence operation, in which no resources were spared in the task of disinforming the citizens, the professionals of the media, and the own members of the security corps, and in which successive firewalls were set up for the case the Official Version was questioned.

Such intelligence operation, such campaign of massive disinformation, could not be carried out by ETA, or Al Qaeda either. We are, unfortunately, before the worst of all possible scenarios.

Another triangulation whose traces intersect over La Coruña road, the official headquarters of the Spanish Intelligence Services, aka CNI.

As Luis del Pino says, there are many examples in the summary about such technique. The reader could also find it in news I have been publishing, although I propose some practice with current informations such as this one, published on September 27th.

On a magazine supported by the CNI:”There are still questions about the intellectual authors”.

Signals that the Official Version of 3/11 is not convincing anyone keep coming. The last one comes from a magazine that is edited by two Madrilean Universities and the CNI itself. In one of its articles about Al Qaeda, the authors leave us such a revealing paragraph: “on the 3/11 attack, some questions to be answered are still left, especially about the intellectual authors of the attacks or its coordination”.

For those of you, who are not very familiar with the case, take into account that we still don’t know…

…what explosive was used in the bombs, how they were built, what activation method was utilized, how they were planted, who planted them, how the ones who planted them acceded the trains, how the criminals reached the place where they acceded the trains, what vehicles they used, where the bombs were mounted, who mounted them, from where they obtained the data to mount them, who supplied the components, why two bombs did not explode, where the thirteenth backpack came from, who loaded the Kangoo van with evidence, where the money to finance it came from, why some police officers have forged reports, why false witnesses have been introduced, why other witnesses have been expelled from Spain without knowing it the judge, who were really the ones of Leganés, how they died, who sent threatening faxes in the name of those shut in that flat, who carry out false goodbye calls in their name, who left in police offices the false testament of Abdenabi Kounjaa, who forged it, why no autopsy was performed to the bodies of the suicide ones, why innocents were arrested one day before the Election day, who set the Skoda Fabia car in Alcalá, why the dogs smelt no explosives in the Kangoo van, why the dogs smelt no explosives in the House of Morata, who the heck was Jamal Ahmidan, who forged the account book of the Hindus, how the apartment of Leganés was found, why a criminal surrounded by the Police goes out the apartment to bring out the garbage, how it is possible that a guy escapes running from a police circle, why no bullet sheets appear after a shooting, why the suicide ones did not stain with blood the walls, how it is possible that the suspect ones rented in Leganés an apartment next to the one of a police officer, why 34 of the 40 people involved [in the attack] were being controlled by the Security corps, who gave the order to hide the result of the analyses of the explosives, why the trains were sent to scrap, what motivated the incineration of evidence in a garbage disposal plant, who was the owner of the mobile phones of one suicide that were operating after the apartment exploded, why the procedures asked by the lawyers have been systematically denied, why the summary was kept secret during years, why the backpack of Vallecas was loaded with shrapnel and the victims of 3/11 had no sign of it, why that backpack was prepared for not exploding, what was what really transported some Moroccans from Asturias, why the UCI replaced the telephone number of a police officer with the one of Inspector Parrilla, why the forensic experts of the Scientific Police were arrested, where it figures in the summary that seven SIM cards were activated in Morata on March 10th, why no one arrested Jamal Ahmidan on the Father’s day, why the phone number of Jamal Zougham was begin to be taped a few days before 3/11, why the tapes recording the police operation of Leganés were erased, why there are no images of the terrorist in the stations, who called to say there were a claiming video near a mosque…

Already identified the lure and the transparent message? It might no be easy out of the Spanish context. This is my opinion:

The lure is clear; people close to the CNI concede that there are still questions without answer in the case concerning the mastermind and the coordination. The transparent message is so transparent that is almost invisible, only in the word “especially” we have got a gleam, a sign indicating where it is: if we swallow the poisoned candy “Gotcha! The CNI finally accepts above those moors had to be someone else” our attention is centred there, and we are implicitly admitting that, well; the rest of the case is now quite clear, which is not true, as Luis del Pino clearly summarizes. They are trying to reinforce in our minds the idea that those Moors carried out the attack.

Moreover, check they are conceding nothing because the fact that the Egyptian, a man that, among other things, fantasized about having a weapon the size of a hair-dryer that was more powerful that the American mass destruction ones, cannot be the mastermind of 3/11 is obvious. They are trying to make us think that the Official Conspiracy Version is more or less correct, giving really nothing in exchange.

It is a vulgar swindle!

I think that many of us in the United States aren't familiar enough with the 3/11 Spanish bombings to decipher what you are getting at.

The Goebbels "Bikers and Jews are to blame for Germany’s problems" scenario though was very interesting. I can see that being applied to our political world daily.

Where have we heard about "suspending disbelief" recently?

Many in the S have been following this closely. IT is the largest and deadliest corruption scnadal by a EU government police force since the Germans intelligence agencies started funding terrorists in the former Yugoslavia.

J Aguilar has done a great job in transmitting this information into English, you have to understand that the 2 websites that are Spain based get something like 300,000 hits a day now. There is ALOT of information, and a MSM in Spain that is Socialist leaning and protecting the Socialist government by under reporting the entire affair.

Still, the entire Spanish speaking newsjunky world is well aware of the entire scandal.

Unfortunately, there is precedent for this. The 1980 Bologna train bombing that killed almost 100 people was almost certainly masterminded by rogue elements of the Italian intelligence service SISME for just the same purposes.

I was very afraid of this. I hope, Aguilar, you and the rest of the bloggers covering this stay safe.

Indeed, the Bologna train station bombing, in which it seems were involved members of P2, may be a good precedent.

Regarding the question of our safety, well, no Spaniard is safe, that is proved. However, take into account that National Elections are coming in a few months and if it happens something, they maybe won't have so much help from the Police and the State attorneys to cover it up than they had during the 3/11 investigation. Moreover, even the most stupid accident or incident to one of us, would be immediately interpreted as a confirmation that we have hit the nail on the head.

No, these guys are more subtle. I think now they are infiltrating our websites, forums and associations and sow disputes and discord usually with the argument of lacking of orthodoxy. It is another old tactic of the security corps that works well in extremist groups, but I don't think it happens the same in more rational ones.

In the end, they cannot present battle in an open field because they would loose. They try to deceive, to manipulate, to move emotionally the people through impacting news and to keep the discussion out of the rational realm. Check the evidence of the 3/11 case, the backpack of Vallecas, for instance. As evidence is just pathetic, because its role wasn't to be an evidence, but to be an artifact to be used as propaganda in an agitation campaign.

Now they are also preparing a new disinformation campaign for the case the sentence of 3/11 is too hard for them. They have to cover one deception with the next one hoping that the public opinion get tired of the issue someday.
