Exactly. Unlike our Iraq mission there isn't any obligation on our part, nor will we agree to beforehand, to rebuild or police Iran after blowing it up. There's just no national interest there, and any that might have been is negated by our enforcing of UN resolutions and presence in Iraq.

In a tax paying dollars perspective, the monetary cost of blowing up Iran is negligible. Although the certain bullcrap costs of dealing with the political aftermath by self-serving liberals is another issue entirely.
