Cost: 2 easy payments of $19.95 But wait, there's more. If you bomb within the next 90 days, we'll include 4 more mullahs and 2 extra nuclear sites at no extra cost!

Take out a few mullahs and go home. Cost: 2 easy payments of $19.95 (just kidding couldnt resist)
But wait...order the airstrikes in the next 15 minutes and we’ll double the order. That’s four mullahs for the price of two!
Sold!

What is it about the bluster and posturing by the islamic mass murderers that evades you?Neither that nor the breast beating in this thread gets past me.
Have you missed the numerous threads bemoaning the state of our aging military equipment?

Did you miss the thread about turning a dumb (iron) bomb into a "smart" bomb for about $30k each? It's that easy? If so then we should never have sent troops into Iraq.

NO NATION BUILDING THIS TIME!!!....just a few well placed pre-paid diamond tips.
Exactly. Unlike our Iraq mission there isn't any obligation on our part, nor will we agree to beforehand, to rebuild or police Iran after blowing it up. There's just no national interest there, and any that might have been is negated by our enforcing of UN resolutions and presence in Iraq.
In a tax paying dollars perspective, the monetary cost of blowing up Iran is negligible. Although the certain bullcrap costs of dealing with the political aftermath by self-serving liberals is another issue entirely.

How many nukes would it take to completely wipe Iran off the map?
I think we can afford to do that.

“But we could muster them if needed. Its called sacrifice. Cut entitlement programs like medicare and social security temporatily to pay for war efforts.”
1945 Defense Spending as % of GDP = 37.5
2007 Defense Spending as % of GDP = 3.9
Yeah, I think we have some wiggle room.
