W F Johnstone of the “Ashes” series is a funny case. He died in 2004, and his publisher and his family kept his death a secret, while they kept churning out books under his name written by in house writers. I see that they have finally admitted he died.
He's been a prolific & appreciated writer and loved by many.
He left almost completed or completed manuscripts that his family and a writer or writers are honing & finishing.
I don't see anything wrong with that.
Seriously, I know it's a novel, but I really wish you would read this one....Remember the Alamo....
..You could get through it in a day if you had the free time.
It's well written....relevant to the times...
In a nutshell, a very thinly disquised (in the novel she's not named) Hillary has won the White House and the reconquistadors are terrorizing our country.....hoping to complete the takeover for Mexico.
But there are heroes...and they're all veterans ...these are the good guys trying to save the day.
I don't know who WF Johnstone is?
And I mixed up William W. Johnstone with Terry C. Johnstone (I have read many Westerns by Terry Johnstone ...excellent!)
However, I stand by the one book I've read by this William W. Johnstone....Remember the Alamo..
And BTW, William W. Johnstone and Terry C. Johnstone are deceased.
