I also know he’s a Libertarian, has run as a Libertarian, and espouses libertarian philosophy.

Not according to his web blog he isn't. He's a gay activist, evirowienie, anti- big business, far left Democrat. "Since I was a teenager I have been fighting to protect consumers from fraud, end corporate welfare, protect our environment, provide equal rights to all minority communities and ensure basic efficiency in the essential services our government provides. In America, social and personal reponsibility should be a given in government."

"For years, major corporations and even the government have been releasing pollutants into the air and water causing damage to our natural resources. Therefore I pledge to support strong laws against polluting the air or water that others must use. In addition, I support removing government obstacles that prevent individuals from suing companies and the government for polluting."

http://web.archive.org/web/20060813211148/http://www.jimcperry.com/

This earlier page he calls himself a libertarian and anarchist:

The guy is a nut.

Try using the wayback machine. It may be cached there even if he scrubbed it. Just enter the addy in the search engine.

“Run Paulie’s supporters have ambitions of being the “nut wing” of the GOP but the term “nut feather” is more accurate.”

Sorry, but the nut wing already belongs to the “anxious for Armageddon” crowd.

"People who for whatever reason enjoy being anti-Jew like to confuse the government of Israel with Jews in general, and then to label every last person a Zionist. That's like calling every American a warmonger. It's neither true nor fair."

But this source pointed out that certain Jewish groups such as the RNC actually encourage this confusion among Jews themselves by equating inordinate American financial support, via billions of taxpayer dollars, with support for "Jews."

Gotta love the air quotes around the word "Jews" in the final sentence. Probably bummed the original author no end that he couldn't just type out "Der Juden" the way he'd wanted to in the first place.

This isn't a campaign for the Presidency. It's a junior high school Drama Club production of Watch on the Rhine. ;)

The Wayback machine is very useful for "wayback", but not for recent changes. In this case I know Perry just scrubbed it - because he did it right after I posted it on FR thread Saturday. Checking Wayback you'll see it DOES NOT YET have the recent (Aug. 2007) Perry page (that he scrubbed). Google does (check my link). The most recent one Wayback has is Apr. 2007.

Google always has cached version of more recently changed website BEFORE the Wayback has it - and conveniently it's with the general search results.

It becomes relevant when one starts and funds a “group” called jews4paul.

You've been told a billion times that Paul has no connections to groups or individuals who use their own time and money to support him. There's no possible way that Paul can somehow be aware of everyone who's supporting him.

If Charles Manson supports Paul, that doesn't mean Paul supports murder and mayhem. The guilt-by-association deployed by you guys have gone from disingenuous to downright panic.

“Typical Paul whining. He wasn’t invited because of his low level of support.”

Yep and that explains why Huckabee was invited.

Yes, I know, he's not responsible for his supporters, nor for radio shows he appears on nor the places his columns are published. And the fact that he's supported by these venues he appears in is simply a coincidence.

As I've noted, that suggests a high level of incompetence to me, a disqualifier for executive office.

As to the thread, do I assume you agree the group discussed is a progressive Democrat attempt to slam the RJC?

A group Paul shouldn't be associated with, and wouldn't if he knew about them?

That's right, and why Paul, Hunter and Tancredo weren't.

Crystal clear that their positions on Israel were the only consideration, Hunter and Tancredo being anti-Israel I presume, at least to this Democrat group.

My Political Views
Political Philosophy: Classical Liberal
http://www.jimcperry.com/politics.html

Immigration: I believe in open borders. Let people move and work when and where they want to.

School Prayer: I am opposed to ‘officially sanctioned’ school prayer, however I am not opposed to students who wish to form before or after school prayer groups.

Welfare: A mix of public and private (non-secular) charity is a good start.

Healthcare: Repeal all government regulation of healthcare, abolish the FDA and allow doctors and patients to decide what medical care is best.

War in Iraq: I think it’s time we end the war and bring all of the troops immediately.

Capital Punishment: I am opposed to the death penalty - life belongs solely in the hands of the person living it.

Gay Rights: In terms of gay rights, I believe (a) we should change all marriage laws to reflect gender-neutral language and (b) we should repeal the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy.

Marijuana: I support the re-legalization of marijuana.

Global Warming: I definitely believe that global warming exists but I do not believe government intervention is the answer. Individual stewardship of the earth is a personal responsibility.

Cuba: End the trade embargo and allow Americans to travel to and from Cuba.

Stem Cell Research: I support non-embryonic stem cell research but do not believe it should be government funded.

Flag Burning: The right to burn the flag is the right to freedom of speech and expression - rights which the flag itself stands for. While I abhor the idea of burning the flag, I believe in protected the right to do so.

Censorship: I oppose all forms of government censorship.

Right to Die: I believe each individual owns their life and has the right to do with it what they will.

Foreign Policy: Peace and free trade will all nations, entangling alliances with none.

Media Bias: Those in the media have a right to express their own spin or opinion if they so choose - just as I can choose not to listen to them or support their sponsors.

Social Security: I certainly don’t believe that Social Security will exist by the time I retire, that’s for sure. But what to do about it? Beats me.. I started an IRA.

Minimum Wage: Minimum wage laws can cause unemployment - but not sure what to do about the fact that the economy is so meddled with that it’s almost necessary to have a minimum wage to compete with economic manipulation.

Wiretapping: I am opposed to all forms of wiretapping by government or by private individuals.

‘Brief’ Bio

http://www.jimcperry.com/bio.html

Birth Name: James Christian Perry. I was named after my uncle James Perry, one of my father’s five brothers. My middle name was given to me in honor of a late friend of my parents.

Hebrew Name: Transliteration: Yaakov Eliyahu ben Yitzchak.

Translation: Jakob Elijah son of Isaac. I was named after my great-greatfather’s two brothers - Jakob and Eli - both of whom perished at the hands of the Nazis. The ‘son of’ part of my name did not come from my dad, as he was not Jewish (it’s my mother who’s Jewish). So I was named ‘ben Yitzchak’, son of Isaac - the father of Jakob who become Israel.

Gregorian Birthday: January the 16th, 1985

Hebrew Birthday: (Tevet the 23rd, 5745)

Birthplace: Winchester Hospital. Winchester, Massachusetts

Spouse:

Parents: Katherine M. Tyler of Lynn, Massachusetts and John Paul Perry of Billerica, Massachusetts.

Siblings: Fred Thomas Perry (19), John Arthur Perry (18) & ValerineAnn Katherine Perry (15), all still in Billerica, Massachusetts.

Childhood: I’ve grew up in Billerica. My earliest memories come from when we lived at 644 Boston Road. My very first memory was when I was around 4, I think, my mother teaching me how to read. It worked because by the time I was in kindergarten at Thomas Ditson Elementary School, I was on the Third Book of McGuffey’s Readers.

In August of 1991, our house at 644 Boston Road, went up in flames - my second earliest memory. We then moved to North Billerica and lived at 20 Oak Street. Our family stayed in that house until very recently. I went to Hajjar Elementary School, where my favorite teacher taught - Mrs. Hanlon. She was my second grade teacher.

Most of the rest of my childhood was pretty uneventful, until 1995 - the year my grandmother (Elizabeth Brown Tyler) passed away. I was ten and was very close to her. Losing her was very hard on my mother and I both. I became very close with my grandfather (Arthur Loren Tyler, who has since passed on earlier this year) after she died.

Teenage Years: I turned 13 in 1998. My life really started to pick up at this point! I met Dr. Harrison Milas Jones that year and he was the person who introduced me to Warren H. Manning State Forest. He served in the Navy as an Engineer during World War 2 and was very much an avid scientist. It was because of him that I became rather interested in all things nature. I had grown very fond of taking leave into the woods at Manning State Forest for hours at a time, borrowing Dr. Jones’ Audubon Society Field Guides and binoculars to learn about what lived there. With Dr. Jones and some friends of his and my own, we started the Warren H. Manning State Forest Club and dedicated ourselves to the work of caring for the 268 acre forest.

1998 was also a pretty trying year for me. It was during this time that I had discovered my sexual preference. It never really bothered me to come to the realization that I am gay in the way it does for many people. It was just fact. I came out to my older cousin, Jennifer (9 1/2 years my senior), first. She’s quite the ‘fag hag’ as they say. But somehow, though I never told a single soul at school until I was 15, every kid knew - and it made life at school a real living nightmare. I came out to my mom and dad in 2000. They both took it well, in fact. My father gave the I love you no matter what speech and my mother just said she always knew.

Being gay coupled with the fact that I never felt that the coursework was challenging enough for me led me to just stop going to school. Between the ages of 13 and 16, I think attended school for a total of 180 days. I spent most of my time either at the Billerica Public Library reading books about anything and everything, at the State Forest, or at Dr. Jones’ house reading about Quantum Physics and learning how to farm (vegetables) on his land. Basically, from age 13 until even now, I have homeschooled myself. Of course, in Massachusetts, if you don’t go to school, you’re a criminal.

I was placed in the custody of the Department of Social Services at the age of 15 for truancy (a high crime in Massachusetts!). I spent time in a number of fosters homes, but no foster parents beat Ilana and Richard Freedman. I spent weekends with them and learned all about the world of politics. I worked on Ilana’s 2000 campaign for State Senate and her 2002 & 2004 campaigns for U. S. Congress.

I turned 16 in 2001. My birthday was spent at home, with my family. My mom and dad threw a hell of a birthday party for me. All of my favorite people were there and it was a great time. My favorite memory of that day though, was when my father tried to start his van and the engine caught on fire! Everything turned out okay and no one was hurt - but it was definitely memorable.

A few months later in late April, my father turned 60 years old. He and Dr. Jones were helping me get ready (at 16, mind you...) to take on the Appalachian Mountain Trail from Maine to Georgia by backpack. But, on May 2, 2001 while I was at my dad’s best friend Al’s cabin in Alton, New-Hampshire, my father passed away.

From then on, I’ve lived on my own. I signed myself out of High School and enrolled in the Academy of Me.. I traveled the country a bit, visiting 38 of the 50 states between the ages of 16 and 19, by Greyhound Bus. I always sought out an opportunity to learn, no matter where I was.

I moved to New-Hampshire in late 2004, shortly after the Presidential Election. I’ve since lived in Nashua, Concord, Peterborough and West Manchester. I’ve met a ton of great people here, some of whom have become my greatest friends.

Present Day: Today I am living in West Manchester on Amory Street. I run my very own small business. And I am studying for my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts. My free time is spent having fun with friends, hiking and camping.

Heroes: My dad, the late John Paul Perry. My whole life we grew up in what is considered the lower class and it was because of my dad that our family was and remains strong.

Missed that, why not, Republicans are warmongering neocons, necessitating the revolution from the left to take control of the party.

Rich isn't it, Jews control the Republican Party.

Armageddon is a done deal: not a matter of whether, just a matter of when. Armageddon is infinitely preferable to nominating much less electing a spineless Islamofascist loving Eurowussie like paleoPaulie, Al Qaeda’s man in the POTUS race.Nuclear missile submarines of the US Navy can and will damage Islamofascistan almost as comprehensively as patriotic voters will annihilate paleoPaulie.

Ron Paul has a large following of neo nazi racist little pricks.

You should worry about the Muslims invading your country, mate, before making unsubstantiated BS.

You can post all the links and drivel you want but you still have ZERO evidence that Paul’s campaign is associated with or is being funded by anti-war or neo-Nazis whackos.

Is there no end to the bull *hit from you Paul supporters.

I have never said that his campaign is being funded by Jewhaters, anti war nuts and conspiracy theorists. Associated with, my impression is that the "official" Paul campaign is associated with no one, they're clueless as his supporters here tell me.

Indicted drug dealers aside, the campaign did accept that support, on the theory that they can't control who supports them. Which I suspect applies across the board.

The Ron "plausable deniability" Paul campaign.

However, it's undeniable that he's supported at places like Stormfront and David Duke's website, as well as antiwar sites like anti war.

Not his fault, I know, nothing he can do about it. Same with truther sites.

But he does appear on Alex Jones, he could do something about that, not show up. Not unreasonable to assume he's looking to their support.

And he is advertised as a columnist for Willis Carto's (longstanding, prominent Jewhater/Holocaust denier for those not familiar) American Free Press. He could do something about that.

His columns appear in the publication of the Council of Conservative Citizens (racists). He could do something about that.

He appears on the Political Cesspool, loosely associated with the CCC. He could do something about that.

And yes, I'm sure it's never occured to Ron Paul that by appearing in these venues he might get support from these venues.

You need to lighten up, simply accept to whatever extent these nutballs and haters might vote for a Republican, Paul has their vote.

Use the we can't help it excuse, denials fall on deaf ears.
