Leni, many times we are in agreement on issues....

..but this sure isn't one of them.

You have a lot of good points & political insight about many things....

... but you sure don't know James Dobson well....at all.

He's not what you paint him to be.....I wish you knew & could appreciate what this good man has done for our nation....

..but I sense you have a closed mind about him....both of you do...and it is rather pointless for me to go on.

Suffice to say you are very wrong in your assumptions!

I’m sure you are quite aware that I have little interest in your opinion.

Oh, Guenie, one of the reasons I luv ya is that you're always so gentle when you disagree with someone.

I've always had great respect for James Dobson and he is most certainly a moral man who has this country's well-being uppermost in his mind.

I'm observing an uncharacteristic flip from political common sense in him. It is not an auspicious omen when he starts shooting across the bow of Republican candidates, even going so far as to state ominously that he doesn't believe one of them is a Christian.....as if he has a magic eye or something.

Some people who believe they can influence millions through displays of moral authority and pursuasion can sometimes become slightly over-the-top. I sincerely hope Dobson stops issuing little subtle fatwas on any and all of the GOP candidates......and instead praises the ones he feels most closely match his ideals, and shut up about the others.

It would be even more helpful if he takes aim at the 'Rat candidates. It's not too early to start banging away on Hillary and Obama. I wonder how many bible-believers there are among all their leftist and marxist candidates.

Only time will tell if I've misjudged Dr. Dobson. As of right now, I stand by my assessment of him based on his recent statements. We'll see how far he's going to take his political remarks as the various campaigns progress.

It's worth noting that Gary Bauer immediately stepped right in to calm things down. And probably to help check Dobson from making more of a danged fool of himself than he already has these past two weeks.

Finally, James Dobson has chosen to insert himself into the Republican primary campaign. Therefore he's fair game for both kudos and criticisms. I'm sure he realizes this, and his supporters should as well.

Leni
