Moveon.org got their new talking points this week. I’ve noticed all week, there has been a rash of callers to Rush and Sean’s shows claiming to be in the military and against the war & claiming to be life-long Republicans and against the war. It’s so transparent.

I know a guy that is a member of moveon & I’d bet anything he got his email urging him to do just that. He’d never admit to it though - cause it’s a “secret”.

I heard Rush’s show that day. This Mike from Chicago guy, was a punk. He was trying to trick Rush into saying something that could be used against him. If was obvious. Rush knew it and called him on it.

All soldiers are not perfect honorable smart men. There are some few punks among them. Mike is one of those punks. (If he’s even a soldier.)

Big effin deal. The dims pore over every utterence that Rush makes every single second that he's on the air, and this is the best they can do?

As far as I'm concerned, with the sorry record the dims have of supporting our troops, they have precious little room to talk.

Every American has the right to express their views and opinions. Soldiers and veterans have no more and no less right to do this. If a person did not serve, or served in a support (i.e. non-combat) role, this is not pejorative unless they evaded service illegally or immorally (e.g. former President Clinton). This said, I feel that it is generally inappropriate for a soldier or veteran to mention their military service in the context of expressing their views unless that experience gives them a particular understanding or experience in regards to the issue they are discussing. Falsifying one’s military experience and making false statements concerning a conflict while presenting one’s military experience as a basis to speak authoritatively (e.g. Senator Kerry) are, of course, reprehensible. Senator Kerry’s activities are, I think, particularly relevant. If he indeed had knowledge of the acts he claims to have occurred, he should have informed the authorities at the time. Making these claims only later, and in the context of a political debate, renders them immediately suspect. And, as some posters have noted, this kind of “testimony” is not uncommon.

BALONY. I listened to that show and that caller was a whiner and Rush called him out. Rush is the military’s biggest supporters and most of the military and vets know where he stands.

"Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Pa., an Iraq veteran critical of the war, scolded Limbaugh in a Thursday column on the HuffingtonPost.com Web site.

LOL...talk about credibility.

Sounds to me like Limbaugh meant the caller was a phoney troop, same as many callers pretending to be republicans are phoney republicans (not to be confused with Rinos.)

In fact, on C-Span, I’d say you get Democrats on the Republican call-in line and you get Republicans on the Democrat call-in line.

Any time they say, “I’s a republican, BUT.....” then you know it’s a “phoney republican.”

HeHeHe. Media matters has gone into melt down mode lately trying to justify that MoveOn.ogre ad. I sent them a note just a couple days ago concerning the reuters story that claimed that W had killed Mandela. Not a peep out of them. Imagine my surprise ;o) I guess media only matters to the dems on Bill and Hill’s plantation.

The fact is there are many strange people who never served, or busted out of basic training who pose as veterans, bragging about their exploits.

When I returned from Korea in ‘53, I must have run into a dozen of such in the next few years. For one who was there, it was easy to identify them. Anyone without the Korea experience would have bought their line, hook-line-and sinker!

it is a “Fact” that there are Phony callers into Conservative talk shows, and Rush can smell them a mile away. there are clues as these people speak, they dont use millitary language correctly, or in the wrong context...real Millitary people call in and point out the flaws...I was in the Army for 3 years and even in my limited experience..I notice these fakes.

The leftist scumbags are the “SUSPECT” ones for veracity.
screw their Fake “Outrage”
