For some reason, it’s never mentioned in the cutesy webposts on this subject that Rachel Smith is a magna cum laude journalism graduate from a prestigious college, or that before she won her Miss USA crown she completed an internship in the news department of a local TV station In Tennessee. So that she should be considering a career in this field is not so outrageous.
