Of course Reuters & Zogby had to throw Bush into this story, but an 11 PERCENT approval rating for Congress? Unbelievable.....

Apparently, the pollsters aren't reminding the poll-takers, of the change in power since the last election. Perhaps if they changed the question to read:
"What is your opinion of the new, Democratically-controlled Congress? We, ah, I mean, the Democrats siezed power, I mean, assumed control after the last election. You know, the Congress who is keeping the mean and nasty George W. Bush in check, and wants the rich to pay their fair share of taxes, etc.?"

Wow, one person in nine DOESN’T think our Congress is worthless.
A blind man could see this coming the day Reid and Pelosi took the reins. When the Congressional leadership has no plans, only agendas, no ability to lead and makes it priority one to obstruct the running of this country purely for political means is it any wonder they would run the ship aground?

The problem is dem’s will say it is because rep will not allow them to implement the changes they ran on and it will all be rep’s fault and no rep has the spine to defend against the attacks.
The fact is, we do not like what congress is doing passing laws against American citizens, increasing government, costing and spending us more and them creating an unaccountable political class.

These numbers can be spun all day long - but it still boils down to the fact that MOST Americans think their government STINKS!
Something is rotten in Washington DC on both sides of the aisle. We have mass dissatisfaction and the only answer is a complete housecleaning. All of us must stop holding our noses to vote!

Woo Hoo - With Zogby saucing the polls in favor of the RATS, chances are that the actual approval rating is in the single digits.
Keep up the good work Congress !!!

You know, if Congress was at the highest approval levels ever there would be countless stories about how Pelosi, the first woman speaker, is so wonderful.
How come the lame stream media is running countless stories about her presiding over the WORST Congress ever?!
It’s a rhetorical question.

Gee, you’d think this would be the lead story on all the networks! (sarc)
Did anyone hear Tony Snow when he was asked by a leftest reporter about Bush’s “low” approval ratings?
Every time Tony tried to bring up the lower congress ratings the reporter would say..”I’m not talking about congress! I want to talk about Bush!”
Finally Tony gave up and simply said something to the effect that Reporters had a lower approval rating than President Bush”

It’s a shame that people don’t keep this in mind when they go to the voting booth.
Congress gets crappy approval ratings in polls, but stellar ratings on election day. The same dirty so-and-sos keep getting re-elected!
