Michigan needs to adjust to the climate and set some priorities. I wish the State Journal would post every welfare client's name and the amount of money and other assistance they receive paid by the taxpayer on their web-page--just as they did for the government employees. This too is public information and should be available.

I'd like to add to that list -- each and every professor employed at public universities like UofM, Michigan, Wayne State, Eastern, etc. Their funding is primarily through taxpayers so THEIR salaries should be under scrutiny.

Along with the amount of time each professor actually spent in the classroom. The students pay for a professor not an assistant! I would also like to see every coach's name and their income published. I am sick of paying for new buildings on college campuses via subsidization. They should learn to live on what the school takes in which should include the sports money. Why should any college or university be allowed to take the sports money to build a stadium and then expect the taxpayer to subsidize them financially?
