STATEN ISLAND, Ny., Sept. 13 /Christian Newswire/ -- Commenting on the New Jersey Supreme Court's decision in Acuna v. Turkish, Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, stated, "This court has placed itself embarrassingly behind the times by failing to hold doctors accountable for telling patients what grade school children already know about when a human life begins. Moreover, abortionists are tearing arms and legs off of children in the womb, not destroying some unidentified mass of tissue whose species scientists don’t know how to figure out."

No doubt I will get flamed...However, I find it hypocritical that pro life advocates ONLY target doctors...if it is wrong to be involved in an abortion, then all parties to that event should be prosecuted. They never have been.
If society really believes this is an unlawful act, ie murder, then doctors, nurses, administrators of the clinics and also the patient and patient’s husband, boyfriend ( if they are invovled) should be prosecuted. If you just prosecute doctors, people will go underground for an abortion.
Obviously you know NOTHING about what this court ruling was about.
I am addressing the whole pro life issue and the prosecution of abortion, as this thread is about abortion.

I'm am not a Christian. I was raised by a single mom. Even *I* can see that this is nothing but selfishness. Taking the "easy" way out.
(This one I'd actually heard...) "I can't have the baby and put it up for adoption. I can't imagine having a child in the world and not knowing it."
To this I said, "So you'd rather kill it? So far this whole conversation is all about *you*. You're pregnant. Face it, you're a mother. Why don't you act like a mother and do what's best for your child?" Either give birth and raise it or give birth and let someone who's better suited raise it.
(The baby lived, BTW. *It* was a beautiful girl and I am so proud to know that I played a part in her existence.)

Amen! As usual, Fr. Pavone really makes a point. It has to be more and more difficult for abortion providers to spout that 'blob of tissue' line they fed us when Roe v. Wade came to be, I was in grade school at the time where they taught us that in science and health.
Seriously, I'd love to be enlightened. What happened at the court?
