"Colorado Gathering Of Eagles, Rally in Boulder Before Joining Move America Forward Caravan in Wichita Ks Boulder, Colorado, September 9th, 2007, 7:00 am to 8:00 am, Rally at 1048 Pearl Street
(BOULDER) – With General David Petraeus set to report to Congress by September 15th on the progress of "the surge" of U.S. troops in Iraq, supporters of Operation Iraqi Freedom are preparing to launch a massive public effort to show support for the missions of U.S. troops in Iraq. Colorado Gathering of Eagles and others are holding a early Sunday morning 7:00 am to 8:00 am Rally in Boulder before joining with Move America Forward in their cross-country caravan called the "FIGHT FOR VICTORY TOUR". The caravan will stop for more than 25 pro-troop rallies along the way. Thousands of Americans have already signed up to join the tour in just the first few days since it was announced online.. Colorado Gathering of Eagles III Rally and "Fight for Victory Tour" .
The caravan left Carson City Nevada on September 3rd, and was described as "History may yet record that crowds that came from the small towns to America's Capitol with one patriotic voice that finally overcame two centuries of hysterical anti-war rantings". We were all really "shocked and surprised" when none of the press showed up to cover this amazing story.
Why Amazing?
Well, Boulder County actually has some conservatives living in the People's Republic of Boulder!
We had a wonderful hour of fellowship together.
We started with a prayer, said the Pledge of Allegiance, and then sang The Start Spangled Banner. Then we went around the circle and everyone introduced themselves. Told why they took the time to come to a rally at 7am on a sunday morning, and shared thoughts and feelings about the War, Friends and loved ones who are serving, and insights into political conservative activism.
We signed a huge flag to be given to injured soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital, and we also made cards and posters for our troops.
All in all it was a very good rally.

PS When and IF the main stream media ever admits that they SHOULD have covered the Fight for Victory Tour/Gathering of Eagles III and they happen to say, at least in Denver...."WE HAD NO IDEA ANYTHING LIKE THIS WAS GOING ON".... Please, everyone remember, THEY ARE TELLING A BALD FACED LIE.
