One of the other attornies for this law firm sent Cease and Desist letters on behalf of Major League Baseball Properties threatening to sue fan sites of major league teams like the Astros, Yankees and Mets for displaying the logos of their teams (i.e. jpgs of players wearing team caps and uniforms).

The chick lawyer that sent the letter demanding compliance (i.e. shut down the site) withing 7 days sent the letter off and promptly went off to France for a two-week vacation and was not available for discussion.

To their credit, owner Drayton McLane and VP Pam Gardner of the Astros got on the phone for the Astros’ site and told MLBP to knock it off so the site has stayed in operation. Others, like the Mets and Yankees sites, either shut down or had to make major changes to their websites.

We, at the website, cracked quite a few jokes at the “MOFO.COM” site address. It certainly seems to fit.

It is breaking in Japan (internet, Yahoo Japan, etc) that Hilary Clinton is in trouble on this one.

You got some links? (Every little bit helps.)

Very good question.

He was given a chance to skip bail, and now he has cash for this lawyer.

The whole thing stinks beyond belief.

Not only did he prosecute Weinberger, he was behind the indictment the weekend before the 1992 election between B.J. Clinton and G.H.W. Bush. Brosnahan also contributed $1,000 to the Clinton campaign.

Civil Rights Attorney Convicted Of Tax Evasion
Jun 22, 2007 8:04 pm US/Pacific

(AP) LOS ANGELES Prominent Los Angeles civil rights attorney Stephen Yagman has been convicted of federal tax evasion and fraud charges.

Yagman was found guilty of trying to avoid paying more than $100,000 in federal income taxes while living a lavish lifestyle replete with expensive suits from London, Aspen vacations and fine dining.

At his arraignment, Yagman called the charges "politically motivated" and "retaliatory."

Over the years, Yagman has filed dozens of lawsuits claiming that Los Angeles police abused and framed suspects and made false arrests.

Yagman also sued President Bush and other officials for alleged violations of constitutional rights of a detainee at the US prison camp in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and sought class-action status on behalf of all detainees.

But, but, how will the RNC raise money without using Hillary as a scare tactic???? What a marketing nightmare!

There are plenty of other RATS to take her place.
