There’s been a Spanish version for years. The first US government website was when Clinton was president. I’m thinking it was during his second term and the Web was maturing (we used Netscape/a crappy IE) around ‘96 or so that the Spanish version first went up. Bush came in and expanded on a lot of what was on the US website and made an identical version in Spanish. IIRC, that is.

This is an OUTRAGE!

How many OTHER immigrant groups had to learn ENGLISH to do government work or deal with the government?

Perhaps the Sons of Itally should be asked, the Polish American Society, The Asian American Society, the Pan-Macedonian Society, the Pan-Athenian Society, or any OTHER groups representing the decendants of those here.

Perhaps we should even REVOKE the licenses of telemundo and univision on the PEOPLE’s airwaves. this absurdity must end.

They’re trying to prepare us real live citizens for the North American Union. No matter what, I’ll never be ready for it. I hope the militia can stop it from happening.

It’s the spanish translation of the U.S. Gov website. If you look above the seal, you see a link for English. They didn’t change the official seal to a spanish verison....sheesh.....all excited before looking closer...

from: http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov/press/gobiernousawinter07.htm

Release Date: January 2007 GOBIERNOUSA.GOV—FOR OFFICIAL INFORMATION IN SPANISH Where can you find official, free information in Spanish about the Federal government? It’s always been available at the government’s official Spanish–language web portal, Espanol.gov. It will be easier to remember where to go now that the website has been renamed GobiernoUSA.gov. At GobiernoUSA.gov, you can find all the features you’re used to seeing on the old site plus much more. There are links to a wide variety of online services, from verifying the status of your immigration case to applying for student financial aid, as well as links to information about employment, business, and housing, among many others. And, it’s all in Spanish. Sometimes it’s hard to know which websites you can trust, especially if you need to find out about things like government benefits, income tax refunds, or Social Security. The “.gov” in the new name tells you that all the information you find on GobiernoUSA.gov will be from the government and not a commercial company—it’s all information you can trust.

I you click on the link to the Whitehouse in Spansh, the main page is about the “A Conversation on the Americas” (July 9, 2007) which of course is about hemespheric integration. It dealt with how to transfer the economic wealth of the USA...South.

The U.S. Has Provided Over $950 Million To Improve Healthcare In The Western Hemisphere Since 2001.

...the U.S. provided $10 million in financing to help underwrite mortgages that will benefit low and middle income families in Nicaragua.

$4.6 million U.S. contribution to catalyze private investment in infrastructure in Latin America.

The U.S. Has Provided More Than $150 Million For Education Programs In The Western Hemisphere Since 2004.

“I happen to be a person who does believe in an Almighty, and I believe the Almighty implants in each soul great human potential. And it’s in our interest to help people realize their full potential. And two ways to do so — and two practical ways to do so is for the United States to be involved in health issues, as well as education issues, and we are. And we’re spending a fair amount of taxpayers’ monies to achieve those objectives. And so one of my objectives is to explain to the American people, it’s in your interest to help people in our neighborhood become better educated, and it’s in your interest that we help people get good health care, because a healthy and educated and prosperous neighborhood is in the long-term interests of the United States.” REMARKS BY THE PRESIDENT
IN A CONVERSATION ON THE AMERICAS

(BARF! Foreign aid as G-d’s work? He last said African aid is justified because their impoverished inhabitants get angry and point hostility at the USA...)
