Andrew Cuomo, NYS’s new AG, also got some of Hsu’s money, too...

Eliot "Troopergate" Spitzer got $62,000 from Hsu!?

Allegations are that Eliot Spitzer only became state attorney general thanks to illegal campaign loans from his billionaire real-estate tycoon father. During the 1998 campaign, Spitzer indignantly denied allegations by his GOP opponent, Dennis Vacco, that his father had provided millions in loans to his campaign. Spitzer insisted he was using only his own money (family members are limited by law to $110,000 in total contributions) and accused Vacco of "smearing" his father. Not until he'd actually taken office did Spitzer admit that Vacco had been correct, after all. In fact, it turned out Spitzer, despite earlier denials, had done the exact same thing during his unsuccessful 1994 run for AG.

Typical deceiver Dem. "Tolerant and compassionate" Spitzer campaigned as Teddy Roosevelt, but is governing like Huey Long, a power-hungry Democrat, viciously stepping on anyone who dares disagree with him.

====================================

REFERENCE Visits to companies at addresses listed by Mr. Hsu on official campaign finance records indicated there were no offices in buildings in New York’s garment district (addresses Hsu listed in federal filings for businesses with names like Components Ltd., Cool Planets, Next Components, Coopgors Ltd., NBT and Because Men’s clothing).

Hsu stupidly thinks the rest of us can't figure out his "businesses" are "fronts" for money-laundering, tax evasion...........and government fraud.

Examine Hsu's donations and you'll find out who was laundering ill-gotten monies. It's ridiculously easy to set up businesses with fake "accounts and income," that are laundered then rerouted as campaign donations.

(In one notorious case of blatant government fraud----Alan Hevesi a former New York State Comptroller sued WorldCom (while Spitzer was NY Attorney General). Hevesi used an outside law firm that incurred an astounding $340 million in legal fees. That money trail would reveal an amazing odyssey in an out of offhshore bank accounts to campaign accounts.

These schemes are also the MO of operators with far-flung organizations, like George Soros and Mark Rich.
