They just catch and eat the nasty-damn mosquitos that are carrying blood from their previous victims to you, and flies which are going to lick you with the same organ they just enjoyed a doggy drop with!

I’ll take the Orkin man over a spider, thank you. One spray kills thousands. I doubt a thousand spiders could do in a race of pests so efficiently. Indeed, the spider is little more than an antiquated species with few redeeming qualities....unless youre like my cat who enjoys stalking and eating them.

Gotta agree sam, though Spidey gives me the willies too. I, do, on the other hand enjoy the company of our legless reptile FRiends. And their presence can also cause the ‘flamethrower, napalm, Shoot-em!!!! response.
Both of them have their purpose. I do not tolerate spiders in the house, but, when possible, I puth them out rather than kill them.

I got bit by a brown recluse a couple years ago. Antibiotics and steroids to get rid of the infection, swelling, etc.
I agree. While just the thought of a spider crawlin’ on me is almost too much to bear, I almost always catch ‘n release (plastic cup and playing card) when I find one in the house.
