Ted Nugent Just Owned Kasich On the O'Reilly Factor

Posted on 08/29/2007 6:03:53 PM PDT by Bluegrass Federalist

The O'Reilly Factor tonight, Unresolved Problems segment, Kasich subbing for Bill. Played video of The Nuge saying rude things about Hildebeast and Barack Hussein Obama in a concert. Kasich whined like a baby about the "tone", and personal attacks, even though this was a rocker during a PAID private performance.

The Nuge was having none of the kowtowing to political correctness. "If you don't know rock-n-roll, you don't get it". Kasich kept crying. Reminded me of Mike Kryszewewsivkvkk during the NCAA tournament. Good night, man, grow up. As the Godfather said, "YOU CAN ACT LIKE A MAN!"

Nugent ate his lunch, and made him look like an insignificant whiner, which he was. It was great. Check out the replay if you can.

Somebody set me straight, since I don’t have cable and only saw a blurry vid clip: The Nuge came on stage with real weapons, not props? Were they loaded? Was he loaded? Was he making a threat to an actual politician WHILE holding a REAL weapon? If so, he is going to be a very closely watched man, and I would be truly amazed if he has not already had a visit or 2 from the Secret Service. And yes, it is a black day for gun owners as his will become the image that all the gun grabbers use to gin up their base, and pass lord only knows how many new and oppressive laws.

Heck in the previous segment Kasich was crying about “why hasn’t NOLA been fixed” to that lefty Brinkley and it seemed he was urging Brinkley to say it was all Bush’s fault. ‘Course Brinkley more or less did.

The damn crooked politicians and contractors in Louisiana are why the levees broke to begin with and are why little has been done compared to Mississippi.

I seriously doubt they were real weapons. Nuge is an experienced performer, and an NRA board member. Those are non-firing props. His threat was to say "Hillary, here use this to fly", among other things. The whole schtick is the intro do his song "Kiss my Glock".

Tasteless, sure. But I seriously doubt there is any danger involved and it was a stage performance. Having the SS interview him would be as absurd as interviewing people who play roles in movies.

Good. I love the guy. He is so over the top. I do know that the Secret Service, they check these things out. They got all the time in the world... I must admit I am completely unfamiliar with the act. The music is not what I dig, but that is just me. Ted got hit by a piece about avoiding the draft last week. Anyone know the bona fides of that claim?

Surely you must realize that the gun grabbers are going to persist with their infringements regardless of what Ted Nugent does .

They also tried to exploit Charleton Heston’s “from my cold dead hands” declaration ...it didn’t work . It actually helped the NRA and the Second Amendment .

I’m coming out of my self-imposed exile to comment on this (then I’m going back, so I will not answer anything...so you can say anything you want about me, I’m sure you guys will).

Good to "see" you again and know you are alive and kicking. While I don't believe we've ever engaged in replying to each other on a thread, I have, at times, noticed your position on differing issues. May not have agreed with you but sure didn't agree with the flaming you were subjected to.

***I don’t watch O’Really unless Michelle is subbing for him. I despise***

As for Ted Nugent we conservatives have to have our ‘pit bulls’ too.

Kasich does what he’s told, nothing original, or taking a stand on something like illegal immigration.

Michelle Malkin has been great on immigration subbing for O’Reilly, don’t know how she gets away with it.

You can notice O’Reilly treats Malkin, Coulter, and Ingraham like extremists.

No, he was owned. Kasich asked the same incredulous PC question 12 times, he did not try to understand or get Ted’s side. Every statement was met with the “isn’t that the rude, personal attacking behavior that makes politics so vile?” Nuge shut him dwon, and showed clearly why it was not as the whiny girl said. I loved it. If I am 12, I glory in it.

He was entertaining the notion of running for public office. He can forget about that now. “

Ted Nugent has been voicing his opinion about politics longer than he has been thinking about running for office.

You might say he could forget about running before he thought about running.

Funny thing is, hundreds of thousands of people pay a good amount of money to see him, knowing he is going to speak his mind and then they cheer like hell when he does.

Guess some folks just can't stay away from this 'circle jerk'.

Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?

You will “KEEP” me around as an example - that’s rich. FR has become one big circle jerk. Not with a bang, but with a whimper. I mourn the great site this once was.

Goodbye Jim. It was a great decade and it’s been an interesting ride. I wish you and your family nothing but happiness. Life is too short for this kind of nonsense. Please close my account.

Was he (Ted Nugent) loaded?

My understanding is that Uncle Ted does not drink or take drugs. He is quite adamant about this. Say what you will about his manners or his intellect but the man is not loaded.

“Easy to do, given that Kasich is a pussy.”

I grew up with John — he and I graduated from the same high school and we were in the same class at Sunday School. A nice guy in real life, but yes, he’s a RINO, at least on domestic issues. That’s too bad.

Nuge did it tonight and Craig screwed the pooch.

Did he mistake its kennel for a bathroom stall?
