The time to fight was when he was arrested. The thing to do now is resign, not blame an Idaho Paper for what he did in a men's room in Minnesota and plead guilty to.

Craig also said he would not step down as senator and still planned to serve his state in Washington...

He should have resigned years ago. Regardless of his recent troubles, Craig has been unable or unwilling to represent the more than 80+ percent of Idaho's population who disagree with the neo-con RINO amnesty stance.

The Idaho pinglist can be called “craigslist” for the time being. Nice, original name, don’t you think?

This is a very tragic thing. I could feel sorry for him. But, on the other hand he voted for the immigration “reform” bill. So screw him as the Kos kids would say.

When I saw the picture of the cop who arrested Craig. I couldn’t help but wonder if he really had to act the part of a gay man. Is it possible that he volunteers for this duty. I don’t know much about Craig. But is there any chance he could have been set up. I would strongly recommend that all republican office holders have someone else walk into public restrooms with them to reduce any chance of false accusations. Everyone knows a lot of the Democrats such as Barney (likes the Frankfurter) Frank are gay. But as usual with the Democrats it’s anything goes. It all depends on what the meaning of is is. They have shown over and over that they have no morals. I beleive Bill Clinton would have sex or whatever he defines his actions as with anything breathing. Man, woman, or beast. Hildabeast, Monicabeast, or any fat peice of tail he can find. It’s pretty funny that not one Democrat cared when Clinton was having sexual relations with a girl just barely older than his own daughter.

Liberals always, always, close ranks and defend against proven wrongdoing by one of their own. Want some examples? Billy Clinton, Barney Frank, Gerry Studds, William Jefferson, to name a few.

Conservatives can’t wait to throw their own overboard on the least hint of impropriety. Proof? Who needs it? Some two-bit “journalist” breaks a scoop and our guy is as good as gone.

Considering that Soros and Mrs. Clinton have their people working 24/7 to discredit conservatives, all I can say is “Congratulations, Madame President!”

I have no idea whether this Craig guy is gay or not. I live a long way from Idaho. But I understand he’s a solid conservative. Oh well, it was in the paper, ya know.

Right. I suppose the the paper made him not tell his wife he was arrested and what he was alleged to have done?

Because all innocent husbands who are straight and not solicitating gay sex in airport bathrooms would cover up this arrest from their own spouse rather then seek their counsel, support or simply use as a sounding board?

Wonderful characters representing us in D.C.

"In June, I overreacted and made a poor decision. While I was not involved in any inappropriate conduct at the Minneapolis airport or anywhere else, I chose to plead guilty to a lesser charge in the hope of making it go away".

Seems to me, someone overreacting after being charged with a crime he allegedly did not commit, would include demanding innocence, and outrage at the charges. That didn't happen, and what he categorized as "overreacting" was pleading guilty to the alleged charge or a lesser charge. Wanting to make it just "go away" by pleading guilty to something he allegedly did not do, is not the sign of an innocent, or credible individual, in my opinion.

I thought it was his playing with the genitals of other men in bathrooms that got him into trouble.

(I bet news outlets are scouring old security videos)

there is something to this vindictive newspaper stuff...

we had our supposed gay mayor spied on and tricked into online sex chat with a guy set up by the newspaper here locally...(Spokane,wa).....

there were no criminal charges....he admitted he used his work computer to go to these online sites....but there were no charges....

still, he fought to the end against the machine, and he was narrowly beaten at election time...

he has since died, he had pancreatic cancer for a couple of years....

question never answered: how many city/county/state employees use their work computers for similar stuff, yet were never under a 2 year witch hunt....I'll bet many.....

he was also accused of hiring young men and sort of wink-wink promotions....

to which I say..How many young women have for centuries been wink-winked employed as special favors to some politician?

so the witch hunt that Craig speaks about probably is true....

though I got to say I am sick and tired of these people with these leanings who don't have the common sense not to be carrying on in public...

Have these 1982 Craig denials hit FR yet? I’m sure it has to have, but there are so many threads that I don’t know.

I am sorry. He was already found guilty in a court of law (by himself).

His greatest error in judgement was being an Idaho Republican instead of a Mass. Dem - then he could have ran a Basement Boy Brothel and still be a hero.

All the same, I wish I had a Morning Zoo radio program, where I’d play a specially altered version of Tony Orland’s “Knock Three Times!” ;-)
