Your hopes are being built up in order to make you disappointed when RP gets his ass whipped in the primaries. It is hoped that you will turn your back on the election and say: WHATEVER. This happened with Dean. Remember? They learned and are trying to create a conservative Dean.

LOL I'm not buying it. You're premise is flawed, anyway.

(1) Ron Paul is not anti-war in the same vein as Howard Dean and the left-wing is.

(2) Paul's campaign is supported by a cross-section of regular folks who are tired of politicians lying to them and are attracted to Paul's message.

(3) The anti-war left would be hurt more by a Ron Paul presidency because they would have no issue to exploit, and traditional liberals opposed to the war would support Paul and not the Dim in the general.
