The USA spent trillions of dollars to combat the evil Communism in a “COLD WAR”. Yes, we must spend billions and trillions of our tax payers money in this very “hot war” against islamic terrorists who want to destroy our freedom and our way of life. I would suggest two books for you to start with Wilson's War: How Woodrow Wilson's Great Blunder Led to Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, and World War II and FDR's Folly: How Roosevelt and His New Deal Prolonged the Great Depression by Jim Powell. Sort of basic reading but we have to start with the basics when it comes to discussing cause and effect with 'conservatives' who don't realize there was a world before 1941....
