Unfortunately, the base, conservatives, are split 8, or 9 ways and the Pro-aborts plus the Log Cabin bunch, and the "conservatives" who want to win and are willing to elect anyone that the press tells them is a winner, are going to be able to coalesce around one candidate. If Fred doesn't get in and suck enough conservatives from the other 8 or so, we're probably sunk.
