Has anybody told him the old school rules may not be compatible with the new school world where in the nominee is decided on or before Feb 5?

Has anybody told him the old school rules may not be compatible with the new school world where in the nominee is decided on or before Feb 5?Who decided that new rules were supposed to apply? It's silly because hardly anyone, except political wonks, are even paying attention right now. There will be plenty of time for Fred to make his positions known before the first Republican primary, because, by announcing well after all the others, he will be something new and fresh rather than old and stale, and with the media buzz, regular folks will start paying attention.

I don’t think in the current age of the Internet, and such things as Rathergate and other modern media event that there are any rules except election rules, and so far he has been following those...
There is plenty of time.

Like he said, he hasn’t had the years to get ready that others have because he hasn’t aspired to this for his whole life.
I like his explanation. It works for rme.
