And so, the ramifications of Michael Vick pleading guilty begin. Is it any coincidence that, after pleading guilty, a celebrity's house is raided in conjunction with dogfighting?

This is the first of many raids, I would wager, and Vick turned over names in an effort to save himself. It may have worked.

This is starting to look very racist. I mean wh yaren’t they raiding the WHITE sports or music stars?

Oh...never mind.

What is wrong with these people? They’re making enormous salaries. Why do they they need to breed fighting dogs, or gamble, or anything else?

Intriguing. Seems plausible.

I wonder how far down this rabbit hole goes... and if there isn't a side benefit. A big enough blown up scandal of dog-fighting within the rap culture might help make it finally uncool.

The rap culture has done immeasurable damage. Maybe they've finally gone too far.

I'd imagine this album cover is purely coincidence...maybe even a set up by "da man."

leave a dog alone
let a dog roam,
and he’ll find his way home

I think Vick gave up DMX and others, in exchange for his lightened-up plea deal. If he did, he is a dead man walking.

Good! Thanks for posting.
I hope this is the beginnings of a wave that will sweep the nation and clean up a lot of this crap.
The courts need to give the maximum to get the word out that if you’re caught you’re doing serious time.
These crumbs need to be given the same chance they gave the dogs, none.
I don’t want to see any plea deals for the sake of cleaning up the court calander.
If they got the goods on them, go for the max.
Consideration given only to those who give up names.

I said this in another thread but I think this case is SLIGHTLY different. I think DMX’s crack-using (google the story about him near an airport pretending he was a police officer and getting into a road rage incident while high) has sent him spiraling downward.

I don’t see any evidence indicating anything but neglect. The ONE thing I ever heard DMX speak glowingly about in his life (kinda sad right there) was his pit bull (and later pit bullS.) Granted, I hate pit bulls but you’d see him on interviews talking about playing catch with the dogs and the like and he just didn’t strike me as the kind to be involved in dogfighting, or at least not in any substantial way like Vick.

My guess is he keeps these damn dogs at different spots and then expects others to take care of them or that they’ll somehow take care of themselves but I don’t think they’ll find evidence that HE is involved in raising dogs for fighting but I could be wrong.

I just don’t think DMX would include so much loving praise for his dogs in his songs if he were inclined to torture them via dogfighting (at least not in any organized sense.)

On Fox10 News locally, they reported that DMX’s attorney released a statement saying: DMX has been out of town several months, the caretaker is probably neglectful and that DMX loves his dogs.
