A while back a journalist from some Texas or N.M. newspaper did a series on the border and documented an Iraqi's successful attempt to cross and find a new life. He wasn't a terrorist - but the article gave the number of middle eastern or asian's the Border Patrol suspects are terrorists crossing that are "designated special interest" individuals and it was astoundingly high....like 1500 a year..
And that's just the ones we successfully intercepted - and what's the estimate of the number of illegals we catch vs. the total....about 10%.
And we have politicians that say the border isn't a problem.
