The Parkers, frankly, should not be alone in this fight as it affects all of us who have children, even if they're not in the public school system. They need support in their fight because sooner or later, it's going to be ALL of our fight whether we want it to be or not.

The scary thing is, even on Free Republic, you'll find people who think the Parkers are showboats who should just take their kids out of school, shut up, and pay their taxes.

I don't know which is worse--the freaks who demand public money to teach kids about butt-sex, or their enablers among the general public.

No criteria left out. I assure you. A father stands up to the principal on his child's behalf, and when they had the audacity to order him off school grounds, grounds he supports with his tax dollars, he refused to leave without having the matter resolved. BUT he did so throughout his meeting and even after, politely and without even raising his voice.

I agree with YOU!. There is one other set of parents who are in this suit with the Parkers. Several other wanted to join as well, but attys felt is was better with fewer plaintiffs. Another mother had tried to bring a separate suit, after this judged ruled. She was told that ruling had set precedent, and she would likely lose.

The Parkers and the Wirthers (I think that is their name) intend to take this as high as they have to, and there are legal funds set up to help them.
