Pulitzers obviously have turned out to be failed resurrection devices of liberal publishers.
Subsequently natural market forces take over and shed this ultra liberal image in the hope ad revenues and subscribers return.
A hard road to crawl up from after stubbornly continuing skidding downhill.

At one time the Register was a fairly center / center right publication. I preferred it over the other LA area options, unfortunately it isn’t delivered in the Inland Empire anymore. No idea how sharp of a left turn they have taken.
