Glad you are back in business! what a relief you didn’t have to change operating systems at this point. Hope you like the new program. Terrible you have to learn a new one etc.. but hopefully some of the skills/.techniques will have carryover value.
Anymore I am just keeping up with the photo editing for various groups I am in.. fancy creations are few & far between (and mine weren’t ever very fancy to begin with!)
90s here today.Got back from river with dogs. The are tired & just ate & so pretty wiped out. Need to get more projects done for the meeting tonight..
I would still rather have XP back than Vista, but I can live with this now. I hate the ONLY version that AOL has that will work with Vista - it stinks, but I did install Firefox, and between that and opening IE7 (INDEPENDENT OF AOL), I'll be able to view and save graphics as they really are, not as they look when I view them with aol. They are compressed SO MUCH (and no, there is no way with this version to UNDO compression) that some of the photographs and textured backgrounds are just gosh-awful ugly and blurry. :( Plus, along with them LOOKING like that, they can't be saved with their normal extensions - it's .art or .bmp, and that's it. Just one more step I have to take to save something I want while browsing with aol - have to copy the url and put it in Firefox to open it to save as a jpeg or gif. I can't get IE7 to open a graphic by itself, nor will it necessarily open ALL the graphics of a single web page. Firefox doesn't always show the correct font color or face of a webpage, so it's just a lot of unnecessary steps. :(
Oh well, I know that both Vista and AOL will eventually be better.
