Illegal Alien Killer of Three American Children to Be Offered Plea Deal
FamilySecurityMatters ^ | 8/13/07 | Editors

In one of the more despicable acts committed in this Washington, DC-sanctioned illegal alien disaster that plagues our country and all law-abiding citizens within it, today in Sanford, North Carolina, an illegal alien named Pastor Rios Sanchez, killer of three American children, will be offered an opportunity to walk away from the responsibility he bears for this dreadful and tragic crime.

Lee County Assistant District Attorney Mike Beam, in a shameful and disgusting act that will be repudiated by all decent Americans, plans to offer Rios a chance to plead guilty to three counts of mere involuntary manslaughter and face only 16 to 20 months in prison for each count.

Keep in mind a judge will have to rule on whether to accept the plea or remand for trial.

I gather the prosecution has a weak case-regardless of how the public might feel.

I’ll take my last comment back. (It’s early and I hadn’t read the article.)

My question here is whether state law permits a more stringent charge for a DWI resulting in deaths.

An earlier article on the case....

Wreck suspect may be illegal alien Drunken driving is alleged in the accident that killed three people near Sanford

Looks to me like the DA wimped out. Unless he's counting on the US attorney to bring charges on the bogus papers. Wonder where that stands? Undocumented. Snort.

...Rios’ attorney, Norman “Chip” Post, confirmed the plea deal. ...Post said his client is remorseful for his actions. “He’s very, very sorry. It’s a tragic accident,” ...

Gee. I can understand that. Why, I use to have bottles of rum get knocked over in such a way that the contents would just accidently spill into my mouth.../S

The only deal he should be offered is a choice of being fried regular or extra crispy after he he has received a public flogging and a salt-water washdown.

As far as I’m concerned he should serve the same sentence he gave his victims....DEATH.

But-What's the big deal? People die or get killed everyday-in accidents everywhere at everytime of day and night.

It was an "Accident" is all-

At least America will have the Best Looking Lawns & Gardens & Golf Courses! (where -80% of THEIR Greens-Workers have been KNOWN-To-Their-Members for the past 30 years!-Members of these Golf Clubs; The Dentists, Doctors, Lawyers-(as "SILENT PARTNERS)with INCOME they are trying to Invest as to use for Tax Reasons- has been the NUMBER ONE group that has given monies to Lawn-Care Start up companies & home construction INTENTIONALLY telling their "partners" to :

"..cash in on the illegal alien's needing jobs CRAZE!"

Then to get in and get out within 1-2 years.

Don't go blaming the Illegals coming over here!! YOU sure as hell don't want to leave America? Do You? Especially after coming from that Hell-Hole MEXICO!(I had worked in quite a few towns & Cities too all over Mexico for a few years a while back) But don't lie to me or yourselves and say that YOU can not see WHY EVERYONE wants to come to America!

Blame the GREEDY, the Unscuplous AMERICANS who HIRE THEM- HOUSE THEM-Do not Report Them!

Blame your NEIGHBORS & FRIENDS who USE these Companies-(& Blame them TOO for Letting THEIR CHILDREN JOIN Those Liberals Groups at their SCHOOLS!! maybe your OWN CHILD TOO!!!-Those Libbies at the DC Protests & marches can's ALL be from LIBERAL PARENT HOMES!! can they? or Reagan, Bush never would have been elected from those stats!)

Blame those like YOU & ME that have been GOING to those Dinners & Shops that Hire Illegals. WE have been turning a Blind Eye ourselves the last years Until NOW it is too late!

Go blame your LOCAL :Idiot Neighbors ;for not pressuring their local Mayors/Police to do THEIR JOBS.

GO BLAME Our own Politicians in DC doing NOTHING!

GO BLAME Your Local Rabbi's & CATHOLIC PRIEST for HIRING THEM TOO for their School maintenance!

The "Illegal Alien" Problem-Concerning the average American- will get the exact, limited response as the Current " Let's all run out to Check OUR BRIDGES so they don't Fall on US like Theirs' did!" Mentallity! At Least: UNTIL the NEXT "Crisis" Come up!

DA

With ‘early out’ because of good behavior he will. Hell, depending on state sentencing and behavior rules he will probably serve less time than Michael Vick.

Lee County Assistant District Attorney Mike Beam, should have to undergo a recall election and a stoning in the public square.
Any judge that approves this deserves the same.
The killer deserves to go for a very long time and our D.C. leaders should have to suffer consequences for not securing our borders.
DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS.

before anyone goes knee jerk.

all cases have a “plea deal” offer even if it is for the maximum in order to avoid the trial.

In death cases the offer tends to be life instead of death penalty.

It would be very telling to see if this is concurrent and if part of the deal is waiving all parol or early release. IOW day for day.

An earlier article says that the original charges were for involuntary manslaughter.

It sounds like some traffic violations and driving while impaired are all that is being dropped. He didn't get to plead down to a lesser charge.

He apparently had a fake residency card, so the Feds could go after him for having fake documents before deporting him.

This guy is looking at 4 to 5 years for the manslaughter counts. That isn't exactly "an opportunity to walk away from the responsibility he bears", especially since the other charges that are being dropped are less severe and any sentence would likely be served concurrently anyway. I really don't see where he is getting much out of this plea. Maybe I'm missing something.

Lock this criminal up for 4 or 5 years, and then hand him over to the Feds for possible (but unlikely) prosecution, and have him deported.

If he comes back after he has been deported, about all we can do is lock him up longer.

We need to do a much better job of securing our borders to keep these criminals out, but I don't really see where Lee County is falling short in doing their duty in this case.
