All the excuses thrown out by the criminal defenders for not enforcing the law are non-sensical. Even assuming that were not, society has the right and the obligation to ignore those arguments to prevent the greater damage to innocent legal residents and citizens.
Why they are given any importance whatsoever, escapes me.

I’ll go you one further. The argument that illegals can’t report crimes for fear of being deported is an argument FOR clamping down on illegal immigration. See, being illegal means you DO live outside the law. As such, illegals can’t avail themselves of its protections and privileges. Illegals can’t unionize, seek redress in courts(usually, thanks alot Hazelton judge), etc. Allowing illegals to freely come into the country is almost an inhumane thing to do to them as the criminal element and indifferent citizenry prey on them knowing they have no redress. Put it that way to the next bleeding heart liberal you meet.
