I believe that most things are what I call "multi-causal", especially, but not limited to, business and politics. In this instance:
1. The internet is threatening. Case in point, amnesty bill
2. Major drop in MSM ratings, whether in print or TV, which results in:
3. Major decrease in revenue
4. MSM jobs eliminated (a former MSM person just committed suicide)
5. Major decrease in influence and ability to shape public opinion, manipulate elections and form policy
