All that crisp green money, flushed.
“He read the intelligence and it freaked him out.”
I’m convinced that’s why Blair went against the majority of his party... He was out on a limb by Labour party standards...

THE Special Relationship is in Gordon Browns hands now.
He is right to praise George Bush for leading the war on terror. The President has shown resilience and toughness just when the free world needed it. But the war against terrorist extremism has not been won. Nor will it be for many, many years. Thats why the world needs Mr Brown to take up where Tony Blair left off to preserve our way of life. Our two countries share the same values of liberty and democracy. Labour MPs and Europeans who are foolish enough to rant against America should remember. If it wasnt for American sacrifices, all our lives would be very different today. So arrogant liberals like Lord Malloch Brown should take heed of the PMs strong words. The Special Relationship is here to stay. Together we will challenge the worlds terrorists. Shoulder to shoulder. |
My gosh!
I think you are absolutely right.
(faint dead away)
And .. we can be assured the democrats are not happy about Brown’s statements! That alone is good news to me.
Take that Clintonistas and Murthanistas.
LMAO!
But if you'll see my post #9 in this thread, you'll note that what he said today is completely in keeping with what he said back in 2004....he hasn't wavered an inch, at least in his rhetoric.
We've all been hammered by anti-American headlines in the British and Euro press for so many years, many of us have lost hope that there might be anyone other than America-hating Marxists over there (although I will quickly add that there are a number of very congenial, pro-American British FReepers). I'm delighted to see that PM Brown is at least making a verbal effort to be friendly and neighborly. Time will tell, however, if his actions match his words, but this is certainly a nice start :-)
Now if we can get some Man U fans or Arsenal fans ......say 50-60,000 to go on a drunken bloody rampage and destroy every living muzzie and mosque in their country. Well, I might start liking soccer.
Thank you Great Britain, it's nice to have your PM shoulder to shoulder in the fight against the islamo-facists...
Very interesting tagline.
Do you know about how many troops we had there?
DEVELOPING: North Atlantic Economic Summit linking the NAU with Europe....
And .. we can be assured the democrats are not happy about Browns statements!
I don’t think he will be invited to any Democrat dinners while visiting America!!!
We will wait and see???
That chorus is gone. The majority of European countries are now run by solidly pro-American governments.
This one took me by surprise. But I’m still suspicious. After all, they can’t even say “Muslim” over there now.
Ironic that the ruling party of our Congress is becoming more anti-American and anti-Bush than is Europe...
my sentiments, as well.
Well, I don’t think you’ll find any Western leader ready to emphasise the Muslim nature of the terror threat-including President Bush.
