There's that, but why don't we post some comments that don't channel DailyKos or DemocraticUnderground, hm?
Stratospheric taxation, union obstructionism, urbanization, obscene regulations, "wetlands protection", busybody environmentalists, governmental meddling... there are many contributors to the demise of the family farmer, especially in costly, government-intensive places like, well, anywhere in California.
