Your Welcome. The Mayor and City of Hazelton will need all the legal support they can get.

i tell you, people are going to start stocking up on more ammo. this is so stomach turning it isn’t even funny. there should be NO LEGAL RECOURSE for a person illegally in the US to bring suits in US courts of law in the first place. i am speechless

...there should be NO LEGAL RECOURSE for a person illegally in the US to bring suits in US courts of law in the first place.

I agree with you 100 percent.

Unfortunately, this twisted, Slick Willie appointed judge doesn't agree with us. In fact, he even gave them (the illegal alien plaintiffs) more rights than regular Americans can expect to have. Allowing the plaintiffs to hide their identities in a civil suit and not have to go to the courthouse to testify. That totally violates the rights of the defendent (City of Hazelton), to confront their accusers in court.

Since when does an American plaintiff, in a civil court case, not only get to hide their identity from the defense, but also not have to go to the courthouse to testify?

I think a higher court could and will, throw it out, for precisely this one reason alone!

Hazelton citizens need file a counter-suit against the judge, the ACLU, and each lawyer assigned to the case for violating the law and for conspiracy to deny Sixth Amendment due process.

I just donated to them. They’re going to need it, as it’s not cheap to fight the leftists in court. I’d must rather give money to somebody like Barletta who’s actually doing something, rather than the politicans in DC who just talk about doing something on the illegals.

I think a higher court could and will, throw it out, for precisely this one reason alone!

For that and other reasons as well. They will also win on the judge's ruling that the City of Hazelton DID NOT consult with the Mexican Government before enacting these laws. Claimed they needed to do that. The judge's ruling also prevents the city government from doing what is it's most important function, that is protecting it's citizens from criminals.

While they are waiting for this case to work it's way thru the appeals process, Mayor Barletta should (and really needs to) send every Hazelton city police officer (or as many as possible) to ICE to be trained in immigration law (section 287g training), and then turn them loose on the illegals, if he hasn't done so already. This will make life very uncomfortable for the illegals living there and may just motivate many of them to leave, in spite of the illegals temporary court victory.

Even this twisted, slick willie appointed liberal judge cannot prevent the City of Hazelton (or any other city) from using local law enforcement agencies to identify, report and process for deportation any illegal or suspected illegal their local police comes across. The U.S. Supreme Court let a lower appellate court ruling stand that said local law enforcement could be used to arrest and detain illegal aliens.

Hopefully, they will pursue that or at the very least, add this to their appeal to the Third Circuit in Philadelphia.

GLENN: I've been reading the founding fathers........they were very, very clear. The federal government should be the weakest part of our government. The local government should be the strongest because the closer you get to the people, the more it is in connection with the people and its will .........That's why you're seeing communities (like Hazelton) starting to step in........
