Terrorist Boy Scouts?

Let me say up front: I am not making this up.
There's a Boy Scout camp in Colorado where they've taught gun safety and target shooting for years. Well, when some newcomer neighbors complained about it, the county sheriff there likened the place to a "Hamas training camp."
Elbert County Sheriff William Frangis, who's testified in favor of gun bans in Denver on multiple occasions, now has the Boy Scouts in his sights.
So, what were the Scouts doing that caused all the commotion?
Shooting sporting clays during a two-day fundraiser.
Yeah, I know: So what?
The Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch has had a shooting range for rifles and pistols for years. No one ever complained about it before.
But as the anti-gun granola crowd has moved out of the cities to find trees to hug and people to boss around, the Boy Scouts of Peaceful Valley have found themselves under attack.
Instead of doing the neighborly thing and going directly to the Scouts with their complaint, these new busybody neighbors complained to the cops. And, being that Sheriff Frangis seems to hate the Second Amendment, he was only too happy to help.
So when the Scout camp tried to get a permit from the county commissioners to continue shooting on the range, Sheriff Frangis-and those nay-saying neighbors-were there to shut them down.
Frangis warned of lead shot. He spoke ominously of seeing people smoking cigarettes near so-called "stockpiles of ammunition."
One activist said, "It was like World War III had started."
Who are these people?
A county sheriff ought to know that, as far as environmental hazards go, the lead on a shooting range isn't much of a threat.
A county sheriff ought to know that shotgun shells won't suddenly explode in a fireball just because somebody is smoking a cigarette nearby.
A county sheriff ought to know that the Boy Scouts are an important organization that does a lot of good for our country and our kids.
And he shouldn't liken them to terrorists just to grab headlines for his own anti-gun agenda. Audio stream (MP3 file): Download

Maybe he’d prefer they hold something like Knob Creek Gun Range does.
I have a suggestion, but I don’t want to be arrested for inciting violence so I’ll keep it to myself.
The anti-gun/anti-self defense crowd never ceases to amaze and disgust.
Meanwhile, on July 4th, a “tolerant” “anti-war” leftist shot and almost killed an Airman in New Jersey with an illegal firearm (serial number was defaced). So it seems the left only wants their opposition disarmed so they can safely shoot them.
Well, Boy Scouts are an eletist paramilitary organization, so I’m not surprised.

I think it's progressed way beyond stupidity into the realm of outright hostility. Anything and everything that represents or symbolizes conservatism is eeeeeeeeviiilllllll to the Left.
They will literally destroy their own nation if it means taking out the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy with it.
Too many conservatives, particularly our elected representatives, still believe that most of the Left are simply misguided, though well-intentioned. I say BS.
More and more on the Left are literally at war against many of the basic principles on which this country was founded. They hate equality and love power.
Conservatives must learn to fight back rather than rolling over.
Kalifornios are moving in and ruining other states in the west now. I wonder how bad its gonna get around Van Horn Tx. Lots of those idiots moving out there from what I’ve heard.
I wonder if this sheriff was elected recently after the granola crowd became a majority there.

Oh, for criminey’s sake. Boy Scouts have a rifle or target merit badge. I got one when I was a kid. .22’s on a little rifle range. Lot’s of fun for the boys. Along with canoeing, lifesaving, pioneering, hiking . . . geez.
This sheriff should have his firearm confiscated. He’s obviously unhinged and a danger to the public.
These people are an outstanding argument for euthanasia.
This needs some explanation.
Did the Scouts need a permit in the past and not have one, did they need to renew a permit or did some new requirement get implemented just to shut them down?

Or the Scout Slogan: Do a Good Turn Daily
Or the Scout Promise (Scout Oath)

mentally awake, and morally straight.
See how evil that is? They are practically shock troops.
Next it’ll be the local 4-H rifle club.
Oh but don’t you know survival skills are contrary to the nanny state dependency liberal brainwashing is promoting??
Scouting is evil because they teach real life skills that make men into men instead of making pink pantied submissives.

Don’t forget the symbolism of the scout insignia....
stars - truth and knowledge
scroll - smile
trefoil - points the scout in the right direction in life,
etc.....
