That sounds like an Indian name, not Pakistani.

Lawn decor has been banned?

I didn’t know that.

Guess I’ll have to move my sherman tank to the garage.

Found in a front yard, under a flightpath, and they can't say if it was live or an empty tube.

It will be interesting to hear the follow up on this story.

"Misplaced by a very peaceful but absent-minded amateur armaments collector. This has absolutely nothing to do with terrorism."

" I wouldn't trust the media to tell a shoulder fired SAM from a drive shaft from a '68 Fairlane."

Ain't that the sad truth?

I let the kids play with this one while they're swimming in the backyard pool.

I agree it sounds Indian - which was the nationality of some of the Drs. arrested for plotting the attacks in the U.K. several weeks ago, I believe.

I checked a map and it’s about 4 miles off the centerline and 8 miles from the threshold of the runway.

I can buy this replica RPG for $300 at "The Sportsmans Guide". Having that sitting in your gun cabinet when the police come calling will make you the talk of the town for a while...

This stuff may happen more than we know. Just last week I heard on my police scanner about a suspected bomb found by a farmer in a rural field ( http://wfmz.com/view/?id=123766 ). I heard the description of it given to the Bomb Squad and they ordered the whole area evacuated.

In the news they never mentioned the description, just an IED. It had C0_2 cartridges and shrapnel wrapped around the bomb.

The story basically disappeared within 2 days. I had to search the archives to locate the URL above.
