Sgt. Major Pendry I offer my humble thanks to you for putting to paper my feelings about what has been going on since 9/11/01. My anger and frustration has grown greatly over the past three years or more, especially since August 2006 when my son, nephew, and niece arrived in Iraq. As of June we also have a cousin serving there (all four with the Army). My greatest fear is that we will lose this war and the sacrifices of the soldiers who’ve given their all (and the sacrifices of the families of these heroes) will all have been for naught because of the traitors here at home. Your words bring into stark relief the reality of what we face not only in the enemy abroad, but the enemy within.
Thank you again for your service and your commentary.

LOL! Yup!
BTTT!!!
Robert sent an email to me today. He’s doing fine, but didn’t have much energy to say much more than that. I sent him some pics of his niece and nephew and other family members, and my wife will be mailing him a package on Monday. He continues to demonstrated his conviction that what he and his fellow soldiers are doing is the right thing, and that our nation must stay the course through to victory. I find it sad that a 20 year old recognizes this fact but that our elected representatives do not.
Hooah, Sar’nt.
Axis of Idiots, I love it!

If the USA is indeed over, then the new historians will remember them as heros. Remember winners write the history.
ESPECIALLY the last paragraph.
W is to blame, too.
Hot damn!! Somebody finally said it!!
Those are harsh words, and all of them are deserved.
I’m glad you heard from him! He should have recently rec’d a package sent from us, as should your niece and nephew! :-) They are definitely wise beyond their years.
Sweet!!!
Sergeant Major Pendry seems to have a hit every one of the nails on the head.
If FRed 0 or any candidate - came out swinging with this this and never let go of it 0 they would be swept into the WH -
Not unless we, too, stand up and shout = too many of us sitting back on our butts waiting for everyone else to save us - it's really up to WE THE PEOPLE to get involved for crumbs sake. "We stand together - or we fall apart" mt
And what have you done? You made any noise? You written letters to the editors? You written guest editorials? You got people together for a good old noisy rally to get the media's attention?
Hope so...Patriots like the Sargeant Major need people doing more that just nodding their heads.
When is the Silent Majority going to roar over the voices of the sheehens and the other unwashed demonstrators.
How many times have we let out congresscritters know LOUDLY just how we feel and what we demand of them? And this means mostly contacting the conservatives to hopefully give them some backbone knowing we're out here. (Bothering with the lib/Rats is like getting into a pi*sing contest with a skunk - nothing is gained.)

PING
This is a great article and more to come of our troops are pulled out of there before their mission is complete.
Unlike that Vietnam war, our troops now have a voice in these web pages and they will be heard. It isn’t just the voice of MSM that is heard but everyone else. They have no monopoly any longer.
Perhaps that is one of the reasons for their “Fairness Doctrine” has reared it’s ugly head once again. To head off and cut off what they know is coming.
Great editorial. Thanks for posting it
Thanks for the ping
