Actually the Bonneville salt flats had a Prius set a record of 130 MPH. Not bad for a 2800 pound car with 1.5 liter (93 cubic inches)and 99 lbs of batteries.I don't know what their MPG was but I'm averaging 53 MPG in my Prius in Colorado.
