We need a President who demands a “can do” attitude from his Cabinet officials. Not one who encourages a infectious, defeatist attitude.
Right! Can you imagine how long a general would last in command if he made a statement like that? At least he hope Mr. Bush would still have the resolve in that case, the kind of resolve he has shown about the war on terror, from the first days when he went to ground zero, and then the great Axis of Terror speech, back in those bitter days.
I'm afraid that our present administration is quite pleased with Chertoff's statement.
