Take a look at the national polls: Rudy McRomney is yesterday’s news. Fred Thompson is 1st or 2nd in almost every poll, and HE HASN’T EVEN DECLARED YET!! National/State/Straw Poll/Whatever, Fred is coming on strong! Hurricane Fred will wreck the city of RINOVILLE and replace it with conservative values!

This is also a comical instance where I could see a former Massachusetts governor sweeping the south from a former Tennessee Senator. Having lived in both New Hampshire and Texas I simply don't see that.

I’d go with Fred but hold the Rice. I wouldn’t mind seeing Wayne Allard on a conservative ticket.

Not bad, but I am leaning now toward Thompson/Pence.

I think the VP slot traditionally rounds out the ticket, or props up a percieved weakness. Rice gives the ticket a woman, and a black. That counters the Hildabeast and Obama-rama in one fell swoop. Fred doesn't need more conservatism on the ticket, it doesn't bring in any more votes than he'd get anyway.
My two cents worth anyway, and worth every penny!

We can beg to differe, then. I’m in medical school in Tennessee, and granted, it’s a different subset, but most of the kids here are pretty solidly in Romney’s camp when politics come up. I say most...we do have a few Democrats in the bunch. :P
Why is that surprising to you?
