Just wait until these folks apply for permits to rebuild, think there’s anger now. All kinds of surprises lay in wait...artificially high setbacks, wetland restrictions, new construction runoff controls and rain taxes, impact fees, etc.
Bingo. It's just beginning. It will be especially interesting to see what they'll do to those with their houses still intact. My guess is that they'll try to stop any cutting of standing burned timber.
