So are they saying they don’t have enough “white kids” enrolled?
I feel for the family but now people can at least see how qualified white kids get screwed over in favor of less qualified minorities in other instances. The ironic issue here is that whites now are getting the benefits of the curve.

There shouldn't be government-run schools. If all education were sold on the free market, there would be more options available to everyone.
Indians are Caucasians- that is 90% of India’s population, when viewed by race classifcation are White. I know it appear to be inaccurate but do the research.
They are not Negroids, Mongoloids or Austronesians (some consider this to be a race) which leaves Caucasians.
Indians are for the most part dark skinned Caucasians, although there are many Indians who are very light skinned.
Once again the ruling elite just do not know what they are doing.

Pretty high ambitions for the parents of an 11 year old who scored only a 79 on the admissions test.
The truth is, when compared to her peers, she underperformed. It’s hard for parents to cope with this, but sometimes their little darlings aren’t all that, visions of Harvard and Yale notwithstanding.
This isn't the Balkans.
This is the United States of America.

Maybe that`s a good thing. She could go to another school, get an real education, and save money to boot.

When I was teaching years ago at Dallas, I wanted to transfer to a school closer to the Plano area where I moved after marriage. One school had 2 openings that would have been perfect for me...when I talked to the principal though, she told me off the record, “You *are* perfect for the job, but I can’t hire you because you aren’t hispanic and you aren’t black—school quotas require me to hire only from those ethnic groups...” She was pretty upset about that. I was furious when I learned they never filled the 2 openings and had multiple substitutes in those two classes the rest of the school year!!! >:-(
Quotas...bad. All around.
What is so gifted about scoring 79 on a test?
Dnesh D’Souza tells a story (Illiberal Education) about a Chinese kid named Yang Pat Au whose principal claimed he was the best student his school had ever produced and couldn’t get into Berkeley because they were full up on Chinese kids at the time. That story and another one like it ended with Presidents of both Berkeley and Stanford being fired if memory serves.
I’m mostly white...but I’m for merit, not race.

Something similar happened to us a month ago in Florida.
We have a 13 year old son who had been homeschooled all his life til this last year. He achieve nothing but straight As all through 7th grade, his first year in the Public school. He even brought the middle school last place geography bee team to win in first place this May.
We wanted to sign him up for honors classes to prepare him for high school and college. School told us there are no honor classes in middle school but they had a gifted program. The school “psychologist” tested him and declined him from the program. This was a joke.
But wait, as daddy persisted they asked us, does you son received reduced or free lunch -— yes. That changed everything and he was re-tested and qualified.
THERE ARE QUOTAS. Proof once again here with our experience. Rich kids cannot qualify for the best education, they reserve places at the “expense of good students” for the “poor” ones too.
Sick society. More bad news for the white, well-off, male.
