Police: Bomb Threat Sent Electronically (TX)
More than one threat reportedly sent
MCALLEN - Air travel returned to normal at the McAllen Miller International Airport, after a morning bomb scare.
“A bunch of things running through my head, especially since 9/11, so I tried not to think about it,” says J.D. Corey, one of the passengers evacuated from the airport. “It’s a little scary... evacuation... not knowing.”
Passengers waited in the parking lot, while a bomb squad searched the airport. A sniffer dog was also used to look for anything suspicious.
Police tell us the threat was sent electronically. According to officers, there were two or more threats made.
They say they’re taking the threat very seriously.
McAllen Police Chief Victor Rodriguez tells us, “This is an airline facility. We know what’s happened in this country. This is not something we take lightly.”

Interesting link you sent, I posted a couple of 2006 investigations from it, one on the attempts to smuggle a dirty bomb into the U.S., from Mexico.
There was nothing new on the bomb threat.
Interesting, thanks for posting the alert on it.
Lots of activity today.
