In America when it was free you had the right to hate whomever you pleased but not to act in a criminal way toward anyone.

I still hold to my right to hate evil and the perpetrators of evil as I see it.

I reserve the right to believe that marriage is the union of one man and one woman, for life.

I reserve the right to believe that only a family created by marriage creates the family values children need to develop right-thinking, ethics, and values of their own under the guidance and direction of a married man and a married woman who can serve as role models to their children.
