Hamas Publishes Fatah Hit-List, Confiscates US-Supplied Weapons

by Ezra HaLevi

(IsraelNN.com) The civil war between Hamas and Fatah terrorists raged on in Gaza Wednesday, with Hamas on the verge of victory. Hamas seized thousands of weapons and vehicles granted to Fatah by the Oslo Accords.

A Hamas spokesman said that a decision had been taken to kill all of Fatah’s leading officials, who he referred to as “dogs beholden to their Israeli masters.”

Hamas has distributed a list of at least 30 Fatah officials it seeks to have killed for complicity, they say, in a US-backed plan to topple Hamas. The first name is senior Fatah terrorist Mohammed Dahlan, who holds the position of National Security Adviser in the Fatah-Hamas PA unity government. He has been hiding out in Egypt for the past two months. Many of the other Fatah men on the list have fled Gaza.

Hamas took over nearly all Fatah positions in Gaza and confiscated thousands of rifles, tons of ammunition and armored jeeps and APCs supplied by the US, Egypt and Israel over the years.

Eight Fatah men were killed Wednesday morning defending the home of senior Fatah official Mahr Mekhdad – who escaped the fighting. About 200 Hamas terrorists surrounded the home of Yassir Arafat confidant Nabil Shaath – shooting one of his body guards.

PA reports say 15 were injured in Wednesday’s clashes – five civilians. More than 25 people were killed in Tuesday’s clashes totaling more than 66 in recent days.

Tuesday night, senior Fatah commander Jamal Abu Jadian tried to escape a Hamas siege on his northern Gaza home, dressed as a Muslim woman, in full hijab. He took refuge in a nearby hospital, but was spotted by Hamas terrorists, who pumped more than 40 bullets into his head with automatic rifles. He died from the assault.

A close ally of Dahlan’s, Abu Jadian is the third senior Fatah commander to be gunned down in recent clashes.

Hamas has completely taken control of northern Gaza, declaring it closed to members of the Fatah-loyal PA forces. In central Gaza, Hamas took over Fatah Presidential Guard positions with hardly any resistance. A Fatah position controlling Gaza’s main road was also seized and destroyed. The only Fatah presence remaining in Gaza is a few positions in Gaza City.

Fatah terrorists fired an RPG (rocket-propelled grenade) at the home of Hamas’s deputy Information Minister Tuesday, setting it on fire.

PA Foreign Minister Ziad Abu Amr said that the clashes between Fatah and Hamas could be expected to spread to Judea and Samaria as well. Shooting between Fatah and Hamas terrorists has already been reported in Shechem.

Both Fatah’s Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas’s Ismail Haniyeh called for an end to fighting Tuesday. Both had their homes and offices targeted by rival terrorists and the calls of both have been ignored. Abbas called Hamas’s attacks a “bloody coup.”

Fatah has decided to “suspend its participation in the national unity government until the fighting stops,” said a statement following a Fatah session in Ramallah Tuesday.

Let them kill each other, but don’t give them anything. Each faction has more than plenty of arms and ammunition.

These people are being used by the Arab world. They are not really Palestinians, they are just the outcasts of the Arab world. Nobody wants them. They should be pushed out of the West Bank and Gaza and let the Arab world handle them.

Fatah Gives Ultimatum

(IsraelNN.com) Fatah terrorists gave an ultimatum to members of Hamas on Wednesday afternoon, warning that if Hamas continues to kill members of Fatah in Gaza, Fatah will attack Hamas in Judea and Samaria. Hamas issued an ultimatum to Fatah earlier in the day, warning Fatah fighters to surrender by 7 PM on Friday or face a massive attack.

Fatah terrorists in Judea and Samaria have already begun fighting Hamas, and kidnapped senior Hamas official Faidi Shabana on Tuesday in Ramallah. The group denied Hamas claims that Shabana had been killed, and reported that he is alive and in a secret location. In Shechem, Fatah terrorists began fighting Hamas on Wednesday, burning several buildings and threatening to kidnap Hamas officials in an attempt to stop the fighting in Gaza.

Standby for the White House and the State Dept to rush a huge sum of ‘emergency funding’ to these booger eating savages.

Bush’s foreign policy causes severe cognitive dissonance.

After Hamas takes over, do you think Israel will have the guts to go in there and clean house and retake Gaza?

As long as they are fighting each other, I would say, allow just a few arms (but only a few) to be slipped into their hands. Then make it look like they “seized” a cache, not enough to change the balance, and definitely not enough to launch against Israel, but enough to feed each side “hope”.

A sizable quantity of the arms should be of Chinese or Russian manufacture. If US arms show up in these “caches”, then let it be some that have passed through several arms merchants, with no US fingerprints left.

Prince Machiavelli would have approved. Purely on an intellectual level, you understand.

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3412397,00.htmlGaza: 2 UN workers killed in clashes

Infighting in PA continues, two United Nations employees killed in crossfire. Hamas bombs kill 22 Fatah members

Reuters Published: 06.13.07, 15:59 / Israel News

Two Palestinian employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) were shot dead in the Gaza Strip and the agency said on Wednesday it was suspending most of its operations due to the internal fighting.

UNRWA spokesman Christopher Gunness said one of the employees was shot in the abdomen on Tuesday and died on Wednesday. The other employee was shot in the head on Wednesday.

Gunness said they are the first UN employees killed in Gaza since internal fighting erupted between Hamas Islamists and President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah faction last year.

Gunness said they appeared to have been caught in the crossfire and not targeted because of their work for the UN Agency, which provides services to Palestinian refugees.

“In view of increased threats to our staff, UNRWA has no choice but to scale back its operations in Gaza with immediate effect,” Gunness said. He said the agency was temporarily suspending all but emergency medical and food programs.

Security headquarters bombed

In the meantime, Hamas Islamists killed at least 9 fighters loyal to Abbas and blew up a security headquarters on Wednesday.

An aide to Abbas said an additional 13 people were killed in the explosion at the Preventive Security building in the town of Khan Younis.

The aide and local residents said Hamas, which pounded the facility with grenades and mortar bombs, was responsible for the blast.

Local residents reported people trapped in the rubble. Hospital officials said two bodies were brought in shortly after the explosion. Hamas had no immediate comment.

>> After Hamas takes over, do you think Israel will have the guts to go in there and clean house and retake Gaza?

Probably not, because half of the Israelis are Socialists, and they’re governed by the most feckless bunch of appeasers this side of... well, the US.

But I hope the delay in dealing with Hamas is because they have their hands full after bombing the sh!+ out of Iran, and are waiting for that to subside before turning on the Palis.

I can dream, can’t I?

In the fever swamps of my own addled brain I envision tens of thousands of big yellow Caterpillar bulldozers coming out of Israel blade-to-blade pushing the whole sorry lot of Gaza palis into the sea.

Day in, day out....nothing but bad news. That’s all they ever report. And then comes today’s headlines, “Hamas and Fatah in civil war.” Heh. Sometimes there IS good news to be had.

Memo to Israel: turn off the water, turn the power down to simmer, and let this pot stew a while.

Who would have thought anything could possibly go wrong with all of those guns we sent to the Palestinians? Who could have forseen it? What are the chances?
