Sorry. It's gonna happen, like it or not. I don't. Shoot, as an Austinite, I've lived with W for like 14 years now. I only recently don't like looking at him anymore.
Unless he fixes Iran. Like quick.

Note to Bush: you cant protect your friends when put your own party out of power and enrage your own base. I have a note for Bush & it only takes two words. Personally, I don't think he makes one decision. He runs with whatever the globalists tell him. He's a live Weekend with Bernie.

Who was it, Dee Dee Myers who quit as Clintons press secretary because she got tired of lying for him? I am now waiting to see how much more Tony Snow can take from this spineless weasel Bush. If he has any integrity, hell quit.Snow is/was a weakling. That's why he in this job today. The crapola that Tony has to say daily can not be good for his health. I wonder how Chertoff does it.

I wonder how Chertoff does it.I think he's on the same page as Bush. I don't expect anything better from him. I thought Snow had a little more integrity.

Maybe Pee will have a successful political career if he so chooses, but Uncle George has probably poisoned the well for him on a national level.

“sick of California.” Well, I am too. But I don’t diss other Californians. I don’t diss people in Massachusetts, New York, or New Jersey either.
You might just give that a thought, unless it hurts your tiny mind too much.

From Elaine Donnelly, re: Peter Pace firing. Don’t miss this.
It turns out Bush nominated this liberal, perfumed prince of the Pentagon, Mike Mullen, as a favor to Hillary! It just keeps getting worse. Hurry up, 2009! I wonder how much more damage this ass-clown Bush can do?
It will be interesting to see if the Senate Republicans roll over for this abomination during the confirmation hearings. However, I am not expecting much from that crowd, either. Meanwhile, my checkbook is welded shut. The RNC can go play in the street.

LH

"millions of voters who admire Peter Pace"
A man like General Peter Pace never really stops working for America whether the Dressed Blues are freshly pressed from a resignation or long since packed in mothballs.
Perhaps the "millions of voters" should approach the General and ask his opinions of our present presidential candidates. Would the dutiful General Pace run for office (like VP)?
Militant homosexuality has tried to put on a legitimate uniform long before Nazis wore SA brown shirts. Liberals poisoned their relationship with law and order and our armed services in the post-Vietnam era. Silly movies (and some good ones) revealed how well-loved our uniformed citizens are by our fellow citizens. Since then, liberals have been trying to win back sympathies doing whatever might get them into a legitimate position of power. Liberals even tried to bring back the always unpopular forced conscription...and then blame it on conservatives who never want anti-establishment and/or criminals in uniform!
No, at this rate, liberals and militant homosexuality won't be part of the military (or they'll stay in the closet if they're in). We don't need prostituting spies on the payroll because eventually, law and order won't need real criminals pretending to be "undercover" pretending to be bad and really being bad thinking they serve the good (yes, I read that more than twice...it makes sense...trust me). Good will be good and bad will act badly at being good. There's too much information sharing that exposes hidden agendas. The "gentleman's game" of swapping spit with spies will remain a windowless building in the seedy section of town guarded by thugs rather than a windowless building on a well-guarded street in DC or the isolated farmland in northern VA. And even that will shrink.
(maybe the photo won't shrink, sorry it's so large)

Not doubting your word, but I thought that was only if the senator was of the same state as the person in question?

Worth asking...Do you think any of the upcoming hearings had any play in this?

Yesterday, Turbin Durbin was criticizing Bush for Pace’s retirement. He was saying that Pace deserves more time in the military because he is such a fine man.
It was pointed out that the White House explained the move was because Dems have already said they would not vote him in again, and the White House wanted to avoid the congress using his confirmation hearing as a means to criticize his handling of the war in Iraq. Durbin admitted he wouldn’t vote him in because he has some criticisms about Pace personally.
